12:80 · Para 13
فَلَمَّا ٱسْتَيْـَٔسُوا۟ مِنْهُ خَلَصُوا۟ نَجِيًّۭا ۖ قَالَ كَبِيرُهُمْ أَلَمْ تَعْلَمُوٓا۟ أَنَّ أَبَاكُمْ قَدْ أَخَذَ عَلَيْكُم مَّوْثِقًۭا مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ وَمِن قَبْلُ مَا فَرَّطتُمْ فِى يُوسُفَ ۖ فَلَنْ أَبْرَحَ ٱلْأَرْضَ حَتَّىٰ يَأْذَنَ لِىٓ أَبِىٓ أَوْ يَحْكُمَ ٱللَّهُ لِى ۖ وَهُوَ خَيْرُ ٱلْحَٰكِمِينَ
Falammas tay'asoo minhu khalasoo najiyyan qaala kabeeruhum alam ta'lamoon anna abaakum qad akhaza 'alaikum mawsiqam minal laahi wa min qablu maa farrattum fee Yoosufa falan abrahal arda hattaa yaazana leee abeee aw yahkumal laahu lee wa huwa khairul lhaakimeen
So, When they despaired of (moving) him, they conferred together apart. The eldest of them said: Know ye not how your father took an undertaking from you in Allah's name and how ye failed in the case of Joseph aforetime? Therefore I shall not go forth from the land until my father giveth leave or Allah judgeth for me. He is the Best of Judges.

پھر جب ناامید ہوئے اس سے اکیلے ہو بیٹھے مشورہ کرنے کو بولا ان میں کا بڑا کیا تم کو معلوم نہیں کہ تمہارے باپ نے لیا ہے تم سے عہد اللہ کا اور پہلے جو قصور کر چکے ہو یوسف کے حق (قصہ) میں سو میں تو ہرگز نہ سرکوں گا اس ملک سے جب تک کہ حکم دے مجھ کو باپ میرا یا قضیہ چکا دے اللہ میری طرف اور وہ ہے سب سے بہتر چکانے والا [۱۱۴]
