2:120 · Para 1
وَلَن تَرْضَىٰ عَنكَ ٱلْيَهُودُ وَلَا ٱلنَّصَٰرَىٰ حَتَّىٰ تَتَّبِعَ مِلَّتَهُمْ ۗ قُلْ إِنَّ هُدَى ٱللَّهِ هُوَ ٱلْهُدَىٰ ۗ وَلَئِنِ ٱتَّبَعْتَ أَهْوَآءَهُم بَعْدَ ٱلَّذِى جَآءَكَ مِنَ ٱلْعِلْمِ ۙ مَا لَكَ مِنَ ٱللَّهِ مِن وَلِىٍّۢ وَلَا نَصِيرٍ
Wa lan tardaa 'ankal Yahoodu wa lan Nasaaraa hattaa tattabi'a millatahum; qul inna hudal laahi huwalhudaa; wa la'init taba'ta ahwaaa'ahum ba'dal lazee jaaa'aka minal 'ilmimaa laka minal laahi minw waliyyinw wa laa naseer
And the Jews will not be pleased with thee, nor will the Christians, till thou follow their creed. Say: Lo! the guidance of Allah (Himself) is Guidance. And if thou shouldst follow their desires after the knowledge which hath come unto thee, then wouldst thou have from Allah no protecting guardian nor helper.

اور ہر گرز راضی نہ ہوں گے تجھ سے یہود او ر نصاریٰ جب تک تو تابع نہ ہو ان کے دین کا [۱۷۲] تو کہدے جو راہ اللہ بتلاوے وہی راہ سیدھی ہے [۱۷۳] اور اگر بالفرض تو تابعداری کرے انکی خواہشوں کی بعد اس علم کے جو تجھ کو پہنچا تو تیرا کوئی نہیں اللہ کے ہاتھ سے حمایت کرنے والا اور نہ مددگار [۱۷۴]
