2:231 · Para 2
وَإِذَا طَلَّقْتُمُ ٱلنِّسَآءَ فَبَلَغْنَ أَجَلَهُنَّ فَأَمْسِكُوهُنَّ بِمَعْرُوفٍ أَوْ سَرِّحُوهُنَّ بِمَعْرُوفٍۢ ۚ وَلَا تُمْسِكُوهُنَّ ضِرَارًۭا لِّتَعْتَدُوا۟ ۚ وَمَن يَفْعَلْ ذَٰلِكَ فَقَدْ ظَلَمَ نَفْسَهُۥ ۚ وَلَا تَتَّخِذُوٓا۟ ءَايَٰتِ ٱللَّهِ هُزُوًۭا ۚ وَٱذْكُرُوا۟ نِعْمَتَ ٱللَّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ وَمَآ أَنزَلَ عَلَيْكُم مِّنَ ٱلْكِتَٰبِ وَٱلْحِكْمَةِ يَعِظُكُم بِهِۦ ۚ وَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَٱعْلَمُوٓا۟ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ بِكُلِّ شَىْءٍ عَلِيمٌۭ
Wa izaa tallaqtumun nisaaa'a fabalaghna ajala hunna fa amsikoohunna bima'roofin law sarrihoo hunna bima'roof; wa laa tumsikoo hunna diraa rallita'tadoo; wa mai yaf'al zaalika faqad zalama nafsah; wa laa tattakhizooo aayaatillaahi huzuwaa; wazkuroo ni'matal laahi 'alaikum wa maaa anzala 'alaikum minal kitaabi wal ikmati ya'izukum bih; wattaqul laaha wa'lamooo annal laaha bikulli shai'i 'Aleem
When ye have divorced women, and they have reached their term, then retain them in kindness or release them in kindness. Retain them not to their hurt so that ye transgress (the limits). He who doeth that hath wronged his soul. Make not the revelations of Allah a laughing-stock (by your behaviour), but remember Allah's grace upon you and that which He hath revealed unto you of the Scripture and of wisdom, whereby He doth exhort you. Observe your duty to Allah and know that Allah is Aware of all things.

اور جب طلاق دی تم نے عورتوں کو پھر پہنچیں اپنی عدت تک [۳۸۰] تو رکھ لو ان کو موافق دستور کے یا چھوڑ دو ان کو بھلی طرف سے اور نہ روکے رکھو ان کو ستانے کے لئے تاکہ ان پر زیادتی کرو [۳۸۱] اور جو ایسا کرے گا وہ بیشک اپنا ہی نقصان کرے گا اور مت ٹھہراؤ اللہ کے احکام کو ہنسی اور یاد کرو اللہ کا احسان جو تم پر ہے اور اس کو کہ جو اتاری تم پر کتاب اور علم کی باتیں کہ تم کو نصیحت کرتا ہے اسکے ساتھ اور ڈرتے رہو اللہ سے اور جان رکھو کہ اللہ سب کچھ جانتا ہے [۳۸۲]
