An-Noor

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ سُورَةٌ أَنزَلْنَٰهَا وَفَرَضْنَٰهَا وَأَنزَلْنَا فِيهَآ ءَايَٰتٍۭ بَيِّنَٰتٍۢ لَّعَلَّكُمْ تَذَكَّرُونَ

Sooratun anzalnaahaa wa faradnaahaa wa anzalnaa feehaaa Aayaatim baiyinaatil la'allakum tazakkaroon

(Here is) a surah which We have revealed and enjoined, and wherein We have revealed plain tokens, that haply ye may take heed.

یہ ایک سورت ہے کہ ہم نے اتاری اور ذمہ پر لازم کی اور اتاریں اس میں باتیں صاف تاکہ تم یاد رکھو [۱]

ٱلزَّانِيَةُ وَٱلزَّانِى فَٱجْلِدُوا۟ كُلَّ وَٰحِدٍۢ مِّنْهُمَا مِا۟ئَةَ جَلْدَةٍۢ ۖ وَلَا تَأْخُذْكُم بِهِمَا رَأْفَةٌۭ فِى دِينِ ٱللَّهِ إِن كُنتُمْ تُؤْمِنُونَ بِٱللَّهِ وَٱلْيَوْمِ ٱلْءَاخِرِ ۖ وَلْيَشْهَدْ عَذَابَهُمَا طَآئِفَةٌۭ مِّنَ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ

Azzaaniyatu wazzaanee fajlidoo kulla waahidim minhumaa mi'ata jaldatinw wa laa taakhuzkum bihimaa raafatun fee deenil laahi in kuntum tu'minoona billaahi wal Yawmil Aakhiri wal yashhad 'azaabahumaa taaa'ifatum minal mu'mineen

The adulterer and the adulteress, scourge ye each one of them (with) a hundred stripes. And let not pity for the twain withhold you from obedience to Allah, if ye believe in Allah and the Last Day. And let a party of believers witness their punishment.

بدکاری کرنے والی عورت اور مرد سو مارو ہر ایک کو دونوں میں سے سوسو درّے [۲] اور نہ آوے تم کو ان پر ترس اللہ کے حکم چلانے میں اگر تم یقین رکھتے ہو اللہ پر اور پچھلے دن پر [۳] اور دیکھیں ان کا مارنا کچھ لوگ مسلمان [۴]

ٱلزَّانِى لَا يَنكِحُ إِلَّا زَانِيَةً أَوْ مُشْرِكَةًۭ وَٱلزَّانِيَةُ لَا يَنكِحُهَآ إِلَّا زَانٍ أَوْ مُشْرِكٌۭ ۚ وَحُرِّمَ ذَٰلِكَ عَلَى ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ

Azzaanee laa yankihu illaa zaaniyatan aw mushrikatanw wazzaaniyatu laa yankihuhaaa illaa zaanin aw mushrik; wa hurrima zaalika 'alal mu'mineen

The adulterer shall not marry save an adulteress or an idolatress, and the adulteress none shall marry save an adulterer or an idolater. All that is forbidden unto believers.

بدکارمرد نہیں نکاح کرتا مگر عورت بدکار سے یا شرک والی سے اور بدکار عورت سے نکاح نہیں کرتا مگر بدکار مرد یا مشرک [۵] اور یہ حرام ہوا ہے ایمان والوں پر [۶]

وَٱلَّذِينَ يَرْمُونَ ٱلْمُحْصَنَٰتِ ثُمَّ لَمْ يَأْتُوا۟ بِأَرْبَعَةِ شُهَدَآءَ فَٱجْلِدُوهُمْ ثَمَٰنِينَ جَلْدَةًۭ وَلَا تَقْبَلُوا۟ لَهُمْ شَهَٰدَةً أَبَدًۭا ۚ وَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْفَٰسِقُونَ

Wallazeena yarmoonal muhsanaati summa lam yaatoo bi-arba'ati shuhadaaa'a fajlidoohum samaaneena jaldatanw wa laa taqbaloo lahum shahaadatan abadaa; wa ulaaa'ika humul faasiqoon

And those who accuse honourable women but bring not four witnesses, scourge them (with) eighty stripes and never (afterward) accept their testimony - They indeed are evil-doers -

اور جو لوگ عیب لگاتے ہیں حفاظت والیوں کو (پاکدامنوں کو) پھر نہ لائے چار مرد شاہد [۷] تو مارو ان کو اسی درّے اور نہ مانو ان کی گواہی کبھی [۸] اور وہی لوگ ہیں نافرمان [۹]

إِلَّا ٱلَّذِينَ تَابُوا۟ مِنۢ بَعْدِ ذَٰلِكَ وَأَصْلَحُوا۟ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ غَفُورٌۭ رَّحِيمٌۭ

Illal lazeena taaboo mim ba'di zaalika wa aslahoo fa innal laaha Ghafoorur Raheem

Save those who afterward repent and make amends. (For such) lo! Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.

مگر جنہوں نے توبہ کر لی اس کے پیچھے اور سنور گئے تو اللہ بخشنے والا مہربان ہے [۱۰]

وَٱلَّذِينَ يَرْمُونَ أَزْوَٰجَهُمْ وَلَمْ يَكُن لَّهُمْ شُهَدَآءُ إِلَّآ أَنفُسُهُمْ فَشَهَٰدَةُ أَحَدِهِمْ أَرْبَعُ شَهَٰدَٰتٍۭ بِٱللَّهِ ۙ إِنَّهُۥ لَمِنَ ٱلصَّٰدِقِينَ

Wallazeena yarmoona azwaajahum wa lam yakul lahum shuhadaaa'u illaaa anfusuhum fashahaadatu ahadihim arb'u shahaadaatim billaahi innahoo laminas saadiqeen

As for those who accuse their wives but have no witnesses except themselves; let the testimony of one of them be four testimonies, (swearing) by Allah that he is of those who speak the truth;

اور جو عیب لگائیں اپنی جوروؤں کو [۱۱] اور شاہد نہ ہوں انکے پاس سوائے انکی جان کے تو ایسے شخص کی گواہی کی یہ صورت ہے کہ چار بار گواہی دے اللہ کی قسم کھا کر مقرر وہ شخص سچا ہے

وَٱلْخَٰمِسَةُ أَنَّ لَعْنَتَ ٱللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ إِن كَانَ مِنَ ٱلْكَٰذِبِينَ

Wal khaamisatu anna la'natal laahi 'alaihi in kaana minal kaazibeen

And yet a fifth, invoking the curse of Allah on him if he is of those who lie.

اور پانچویں بار یہ کہ اللہ کی پھٹکار ہو اس شخص پر اگر ہو وہ جھوٹا

وَيَدْرَؤُا۟ عَنْهَا ٱلْعَذَابَ أَن تَشْهَدَ أَرْبَعَ شَهَٰدَٰتٍۭ بِٱللَّهِ ۙ إِنَّهُۥ لَمِنَ ٱلْكَٰذِبِينَ

Wa yadra'u anhal 'azaaba an tashhada arba'a shahaa daatim billaahi innahoo laminal kaazibeen

And it shall avert the punishment from her if she bear witness before Allah four times that the thing he saith is indeed false,

اور عورت سے ٹل جائے مار یوں کہ وہ گواہی دے چار گواہی اللہ کی قسم کھا کر مقرر وہ شخص جھوٹا ہے

وَٱلْخَٰمِسَةَ أَنَّ غَضَبَ ٱللَّهِ عَلَيْهَآ إِن كَانَ مِنَ ٱلصَّٰدِقِينَ

Wal khaamisata anna ghadabal laahi 'alaihaaa in kaana minas saadiqeen

And a fifth (time) that the wrath of Allah be upon her if he speaketh truth.

اور پانچویں یہ کہ اللہ کا غضب آئے اس عورت پر اگر وہ شخص سچا ہے [۱۲]

وَلَوْلَا فَضْلُ ٱللَّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَتُهُۥ وَأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ تَوَّابٌ حَكِيمٌ

Wa law laa fadlul laahi 'alaikum wa rahmatuhoo wa annal laaha Tawwaabun Hakeem

And had it not been for the grace of Allah and His mercy unto you, and that Allah is Clement, Wise, (ye had been undone).

اور اگر نہ ہوتا اللہ کا فضل تمہارے اوپر اور اسکی رحمت اور یہ کہ اللہ معاف کرنے والا ہے حکمتیں جاننے والا تو کیا کچھ نہ ہوتا [۱۳]

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ جَآءُو بِٱلْإِفْكِ عُصْبَةٌۭ مِّنكُمْ ۚ لَا تَحْسَبُوهُ شَرًّۭا لَّكُم ۖ بَلْ هُوَ خَيْرٌۭ لَّكُمْ ۚ لِكُلِّ ٱمْرِئٍۢ مِّنْهُم مَّا ٱكْتَسَبَ مِنَ ٱلْإِثْمِ ۚ وَٱلَّذِى تَوَلَّىٰ كِبْرَهُۥ مِنْهُمْ لَهُۥ عَذَابٌ عَظِيمٌۭ

Innal lazeena jaaa'oo bilifki 'usbatum minkum; laa tahsaboohu sharral lakum bal huwa khairul lakum; likul limri'im minhum mak tasaba minal-ism; wallazee tawallaa kibrahoo minhum lahoo 'azaabun 'azeem

Lo! they who spread the slander are a gang among you. Deem it not a bad thing for you; nay, it is good for you. Unto every man of them (will be paid) that which he hath earned of the sin; and as for him among them who had the greater share therein, his will be an awful doom.

جو لوگ لائے ہیں یہ طوفان [۱۴] تمہیں میں ایک جماعت ہیں [۱۵] تم اس کو نہ سمجھو برا اپنے حق میں بلکہ یہ بہتر ہے تمہارے حق میں [۱۶] ہر آدمی کے لئے ان میں سے وہ ہے جتنا اس نے گناہ کمایا اور جس نے اٹھایا ہے اس کا بڑا بوجھ اس کے واسطے بڑا عذاب ہے [۱۷]

لَّوْلَآ إِذْ سَمِعْتُمُوهُ ظَنَّ ٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَ وَٱلْمُؤْمِنَٰتُ بِأَنفُسِهِمْ خَيْرًۭا وَقَالُوا۟ هَٰذَآ إِفْكٌۭ مُّبِينٌۭ

Law laaa iz sami'tumoohu zannal mu'minoona walmu'minaatu bi anfusihim khairanw wa qaaloo haazaaa ifkum mmubeen

Why did not the believers, men and women, when ye heard it, think good of their own own folk, and say: It is a manifest untruth?

کیوں نہ جب تم نے اس کو سنا تھا خیال کیا ہوتا ایمان والے مردوں اور ایمان والی عورتوں نے اپنے لوگوں پر بھلا خیال اور کہا ہوتا یہ صریح طوفان ہے [۱۸]

لَّوْلَا جَآءُو عَلَيْهِ بِأَرْبَعَةِ شُهَدَآءَ ۚ فَإِذْ لَمْ يَأْتُوا۟ بِٱلشُّهَدَآءِ فَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ عِندَ ٱللَّهِ هُمُ ٱلْكَٰذِبُونَ

Law laa jaaa'oo 'alaihi bi-arba'ati shuhadaaa'; fa iz lam yaatoo bishshuhadaaa'i fa ulaaa 'ika 'indal laahi humul kaaziboon

Why did they not produce four witnesses? Since they produce not witnesses, they verily are liars in the sight of Allah.

کیوں نہ لائے وہ اس بات پر چار شاہد پھر جب نہ لائے شاہد تو وہ لوگ اللہ کے یہاں وہی ہیں جھوٹے [۱۹]

وَلَوْلَا فَضْلُ ٱللَّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَتُهُۥ فِى ٱلدُّنْيَا وَٱلْءَاخِرَةِ لَمَسَّكُمْ فِى مَآ أَفَضْتُمْ فِيهِ عَذَابٌ عَظِيمٌ

Wa law laa fadlul laahi 'alaikum wa rahmatuhoo fiddunyaa wal aakhirati lamassakum fee maaa afadtum feehi 'azaabun 'azeem

Had it not been for the grace of Allah and His mercy unto you in the world and the Hereafter an awful doom had overtaken you for that whereof ye murmured.

اور اگر نہ ہوتا اللہ کا فضل تم پر اور اسکی رحمت دنیا اور آخرت میں تو تم پر پڑ جاتی اس چرچا کرنے میں کوئی آفت بڑی [۲۰]

إِذْ تَلَقَّوْنَهُۥ بِأَلْسِنَتِكُمْ وَتَقُولُونَ بِأَفْوَاهِكُم مَّا لَيْسَ لَكُم بِهِۦ عِلْمٌۭ وَتَحْسَبُونَهُۥ هَيِّنًۭا وَهُوَ عِندَ ٱللَّهِ عَظِيمٌۭ

iz talaqqawnahoo bi alsinatikum wa taqooloona bi afwaahikum maa laisa lakum bihee 'ilmunw wa tahsaboo nahoo haiyinanw wa huwa 'indl laahi 'azeem

When ye welcomed it with your tongues, and uttered with your mouths that whereof ye had no knowledge, ye counted it a trifle. In the sight of Allah it is very great.

جب لینے لگے تم اس کو اپنی زبانوں پر اور بولنے لگے اپنے منہ سے جس چیز کی تم کو خبر نہیں اور تم سمجھتے ہو اسکو ہلکی بات اور یہ اللہ کے یہاں بہت بڑی بات ہے [۲۱]

وَلَوْلَآ إِذْ سَمِعْتُمُوهُ قُلْتُم مَّا يَكُونُ لَنَآ أَن نَّتَكَلَّمَ بِهَٰذَا سُبْحَٰنَكَ هَٰذَا بُهْتَٰنٌ عَظِيمٌۭ

Wa law laaa iz sami'tu moohu qultum maa yakoonu lanaaa an natakallama bihaazaa Subhaanaka haaza buhtaanun 'azeem

Wherefor, when ye heard it, said ye not: It is not for us to speak of this. Glory be to Thee (O Allah)! This is awful calumny.

اور کیوں نہ جب تم نے اس کو سنا تھا کہا ہوتا ہم کو نہیں لائق کہ منہ پر لائیں یہ بات اللہ تو پاک ہے یہ تو بڑا بہتان ہے [۲۲]

يَعِظُكُمُ ٱللَّهُ أَن تَعُودُوا۟ لِمِثْلِهِۦٓ أَبَدًا إِن كُنتُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ

Ya'izukumul laahu an ta'oodoo limisliheee abadan in kuntum mu'mineen

Allah admonisheth you that ye repeat not the like thereof ever, if ye are (in truth) believers.

اللہ تم کو سمجھاتا ہے کہ پھر نہ کرو ایسا کام کبھی اگر تم ایمان رکھتے ہو [۲۳]

وَيُبَيِّنُ ٱللَّهُ لَكُمُ ٱلْءَايَٰتِ ۚ وَٱللَّهُ عَلِيمٌ حَكِيمٌ

Wa yubaiyinul laahu lakumul Aayaat; wallaahu 'Aleemun Hakeem

And He expoundeth unto you the revelations. Allah is Knower, Wise.

اور کھولتا ہے اللہ تمہارے واسطے پتے کی باتیں اور اللہ سب جانتا ہے حکمت والا ہے [۲۴]

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ يُحِبُّونَ أَن تَشِيعَ ٱلْفَٰحِشَةُ فِى ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌۭ فِى ٱلدُّنْيَا وَٱلْءَاخِرَةِ ۚ وَٱللَّهُ يَعْلَمُ وَأَنتُمْ لَا تَعْلَمُونَ

Innal lazeena yuhibboona an tashee'al faahishatu fil lazeena aamanoo lahum 'azaabun aleemun fid dunyaa wal Aakhirah; wallaahu ya'lamu wa antum laa ta'lamoon

Lo! those who love that slander should be spread concerning those who believe, theirs will be a painful punishment in the world and the Hereafter. Allah knoweth. Ye know not.

جو لوگ چاہتے ہیں کہ چرچا ہو بدکاری کا ایمان والوں میں [۲۵] انکے لئے عذاب ہے دردناک دنیا اور آخرت میں [۲۶] اور اللہ جانتا ہے اور تم نہیں جانتے [۲۷]

وَلَوْلَا فَضْلُ ٱللَّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَتُهُۥ وَأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ رَءُوفٌۭ رَّحِيمٌۭ

Wa law laa fadlul laahi 'alaikum wa rahmatuhoo wa annal laaha Ra'oofur Raheem

Had it not been for the grace of Allah and His mercy unto you, and that Allah is Clement, Merciful, (ye had been undone).

اور اگر نہ ہوتا اللہ کا فضل تم پر اور اسکی رحمت اور یہ کہ اللہ نرمی کرنے والا ہے مہربان تو کیا کچھ نہ ہوتا [۲۸]

۞ يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ لَا تَتَّبِعُوا۟ خُطُوَٰتِ ٱلشَّيْطَٰنِ ۚ وَمَن يَتَّبِعْ خُطُوَٰتِ ٱلشَّيْطَٰنِ فَإِنَّهُۥ يَأْمُرُ بِٱلْفَحْشَآءِ وَٱلْمُنكَرِ ۚ وَلَوْلَا فَضْلُ ٱللَّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَتُهُۥ مَا زَكَىٰ مِنكُم مِّنْ أَحَدٍ أَبَدًۭا وَلَٰكِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يُزَكِّى مَن يَشَآءُ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ سَمِيعٌ عَلِيمٌۭ

Yaaa aiyuhal lazeena aamanoo laa tattabi'oo khutuwaatish Shaitaan; wa many-yattabi' khutuwaatish Shaitaani fa innahoo yaamuru bilfahshaaa'i walmunkar; wa law laa fadlul laahi 'alaikum wa rahmatuhoo maa zakaa minkum min ahadin abadanw wa laakinnal laaha yuzakkee many-yashaaa'; wallaahu Samee'un 'Aleem

O ye who believe! Follow not the footsteps of the devil. Unto whomsoever followeth the footsteps of the devil, lo! he commandeth filthiness and wrong. Had it not been for the grace of Allah and His mercy unto you, not one of you would ever have grown pure. But Allah causeth whom He will to grow. And Allah is Hearer, Knower.

اے ایمان والو نہ چلو قدموں پر شیطان کے اور جو کوئی چلے گا قدموں پر شیطان کےسو وہ تو یہی بتلائے گا بیحائی اور بری بات [۲۹] اور اگر نہ ہوتا اللہ کا فضل تم پر اور اس کی رحمت تو نہ سنورتا تم میں ایک شخص بھی کبھی و لیکن اللہ سنوارتا ہے جس کو چاہے اور اللہ سب کچھ سنتا جانتا ہے [۳۰]

وَلَا يَأْتَلِ أُو۟لُوا۟ ٱلْفَضْلِ مِنكُمْ وَٱلسَّعَةِ أَن يُؤْتُوٓا۟ أُو۟لِى ٱلْقُرْبَىٰ وَٱلْمَسَٰكِينَ وَٱلْمُهَٰجِرِينَ فِى سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ ۖ وَلْيَعْفُوا۟ وَلْيَصْفَحُوٓا۟ ۗ أَلَا تُحِبُّونَ أَن يَغْفِرَ ٱللَّهُ لَكُمْ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ غَفُورٌۭ رَّحِيمٌ

Wa laa yaatali ulul fadli minkum wassa'ati ai yu'tooo ulil qurbaa walmasaakeena walmuhaajireena fee sabeelillaahi walya'foo walyasfahoo; alaa tuhibboona ai yaghfiral laahu lakum; wal laahu Ghafoorur Raheem

And let not those who possess dignity and ease among you swear not to give to the near of kin and to the needy, and to fugitives for the cause of Allah. Let them forgive and show indulgence. Yearn ye not that Allah may forgive you? Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.

اور قسم نہ کھائیں بڑے درجہ والے تم میں سے اور کشائش والے اس پر کہ دیں قرابتیوں کو اور محتاجوں کو اور وطن چھوڑنے والوں کو اللہ کی راہ میں اور چاہئے کہ معاف کریں اور درگزر کریں کیا تم نہیں چاہتے کہ اللہ تم کو معاف کرے اور اللہ بخشنے والا مہربان ہے [۳۱]

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ يَرْمُونَ ٱلْمُحْصَنَٰتِ ٱلْغَٰفِلَٰتِ ٱلْمُؤْمِنَٰتِ لُعِنُوا۟ فِى ٱلدُّنْيَا وَٱلْءَاخِرَةِ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ عَظِيمٌۭ

Innal lazeena yarmoonal muhsanaatil ghaafilaatil mu'minaati lu'inoo fid dunyaa wal Aakhirati wa lahum 'azaabun 'azeem

Lo! as for those who traduce virtuous, believing women (who are) careless, cursed are they in the world and the Hereafter. Theirs will be an awful doom

جو لوگ عیب لگاتے ہیں حفاظت والیوں بیخبر ایمان والیوں کو ان کو پھٹکار ہے دنیا میں اور آخرت میں اور انکے لئے ہے بڑا عذاب [۳۲]

يَوْمَ تَشْهَدُ عَلَيْهِمْ أَلْسِنَتُهُمْ وَأَيْدِيهِمْ وَأَرْجُلُهُم بِمَا كَانُوا۟ يَعْمَلُونَ

Yawma tashhhadu 'alaihim alsinatuhum wa aideehim wa arjuluhum bimaa kaanoo ya'maloon

On the day when their tongues and their hands and their feet testify against them as to what they used to do,

جس دن کہ ظاہر کر دیں گی ان کی زبانیں اور ہاتھ اور پاؤں جو کچھ وہ کرتے تھے [۳۳]

يَوْمَئِذٍۢ يُوَفِّيهِمُ ٱللَّهُ دِينَهُمُ ٱلْحَقَّ وَيَعْلَمُونَ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ هُوَ ٱلْحَقُّ ٱلْمُبِينُ

Yawma'iziny yuwaf feehimul laahu deenahumul haqqa wa ya'lamoona annal laaha Huwal Haqqul Mubeen

On that day Allah will pay them their just due, and they will know that Allah, He is the Manifest Truth.

اس دن پوری دے گا انکو اللہ ان کی سزا جو چاہئے اور جان لیں گے کہ اللہ وہی ہے سچا کھولنے والا [۳۴]

ٱلْخَبِيثَٰتُ لِلْخَبِيثِينَ وَٱلْخَبِيثُونَ لِلْخَبِيثَٰتِ ۖ وَٱلطَّيِّبَٰتُ لِلطَّيِّبِينَ وَٱلطَّيِّبُونَ لِلطَّيِّبَٰتِ ۚ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ مُبَرَّءُونَ مِمَّا يَقُولُونَ ۖ لَهُم مَّغْفِرَةٌۭ وَرِزْقٌۭ كَرِيمٌۭ

Alkhabeesaatu lilkha beeseena walkhabeesoona lilkhabeesaati wattaiyibaatu littaiyibeena wattaiyiboona littaiyibaat; ulaaa'ika mubar ra'oona maimma yaqooloona lahum maghfiratunw wa rizqun kareem

Vile women are for vile men, and vile men for vile women. Good women are for good men, and good men for good women; such are innocent of that which people say: For them is pardon and a bountiful provision.

گندیاں ہیں گندوں کے واسطے اور گندے واسطے گندیوں کے اور ستھریاں ہیں ستھروں کے واسطے اور ستھرے واسطے ستھریوں کے [۳۵] وہ لوگ بے تعلق ہیں ان باتوں سے جو یہ کہتے ہیں [۳۶] انکے واسطے بخشش ہے اور روزی ہے عزت کی [۳۷]

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ لَا تَدْخُلُوا۟ بُيُوتًا غَيْرَ بُيُوتِكُمْ حَتَّىٰ تَسْتَأْنِسُوا۟ وَتُسَلِّمُوا۟ عَلَىٰٓ أَهْلِهَا ۚ ذَٰلِكُمْ خَيْرٌۭ لَّكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَذَكَّرُونَ

Yaaa aiyuhal lazeena aamanoo laa tadkhuloo buyootan ghaira buyootikum hatta tastaanisoo wa tusallimoo 'allaa ahlihaa; zaalikum khairul lakum la'allakum tazakkaroon

O ye who believe! Enter not houses other than your own without first announcing your presence and invoking peace upon the folk thereof. That is better for you, that ye may be heedful.

اے ایمان والو مت جایا کرو کسی گھر میں اپنے گھروں کے سوائے جب تک بول چال نہ کر لو اور سلام کر لو ان گھر والوں پر یہ بہتر ہے تمہارے حق میں تاکہ تم یاد رکھو [۳۸]

فَإِن لَّمْ تَجِدُوا۟ فِيهَآ أَحَدًۭا فَلَا تَدْخُلُوهَا حَتَّىٰ يُؤْذَنَ لَكُمْ ۖ وَإِن قِيلَ لَكُمُ ٱرْجِعُوا۟ فَٱرْجِعُوا۟ ۖ هُوَ أَزْكَىٰ لَكُمْ ۚ وَٱللَّهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ عَلِيمٌۭ

Fa il lam tajidoo feehaaa ahadan falaa tadkhuloohaa hattaa yu'zana lakum wa in qeela lakumurji'oo farji'oo huwa azkaa lakum; wallaahu bimaa ta'maloona 'Aleem

And if ye find no-one therein, still enter not until permission hath been given. And if it be said unto you: Go away again, then go away, for it is purer for you. Allah knoweth what ye do.

پھر اگر نہ پاؤ اس میں کسی کو تو اس میں نہ جاؤ جب تک کہ اجازت نہ ملے تم کو [۳۹] اور اگر تم کو جواب ملے کہ پھر جاؤ تو پھر جاؤ اس میں خوب ستھرائی ہے تمہارے لئے [۴۰] اور اللہ جو تم کرتے ہو اس کو جانتا ہے [۴۱]

لَّيْسَ عَلَيْكُمْ جُنَاحٌ أَن تَدْخُلُوا۟ بُيُوتًا غَيْرَ مَسْكُونَةٍۢ فِيهَا مَتَٰعٌۭ لَّكُمْ ۚ وَٱللَّهُ يَعْلَمُ مَا تُبْدُونَ وَمَا تَكْتُمُونَ

Laisa 'alaikum junaahun ann tadkhuloo buyootan ghaira maskoonatin feeha mataa'ul lakum; wallaahu ya'lamu maa tubdoona wa maa taktumoon

(It is) no sin for you to enter uninhabited houses wherein is comfort for you. Allah knoweth what ye proclaim and what ye hide.

نہیں گناہ تم پر اس میں کہ جاؤ ان گھروں میں جہاں کوئی نہیں بستا اس میں کچھ چیز ہو تمہاری [۴۲] اور اللہ کو معلوم ہے جو تم ظاہر کرتے ہو اور جو چھپاتے ہو [۴۳]

قُل لِّلْمُؤْمِنِينَ يَغُضُّوا۟ مِنْ أَبْصَٰرِهِمْ وَيَحْفَظُوا۟ فُرُوجَهُمْ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ أَزْكَىٰ لَهُمْ ۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ خَبِيرٌۢ بِمَا يَصْنَعُونَ

Qul lilmu' mineena yaghuuddoo min absaarihim wa yahfazoo furoojahum; zaalika azkaa lahum; innallaaha khabeerum bimaa yasna'oon

Tell the believing men to lower their gaze and be modest. That is purer for them. Lo! Allah is aware of what they do.

کہہ دے ایمان والوں کو نیچی رکھیں ذری اپنی آنکھیں [۴۴] اور تھامتے رہیں اپنے ستر کو [۴۵] اس میں خوب ستھرائی ہے انکے لئے بیشک اللہ کو خبر ہے جو کچھ کرتےہیں [۴۶]

وَقُل لِّلْمُؤْمِنَٰتِ يَغْضُضْنَ مِنْ أَبْصَٰرِهِنَّ وَيَحْفَظْنَ فُرُوجَهُنَّ وَلَا يُبْدِينَ زِينَتَهُنَّ إِلَّا مَا ظَهَرَ مِنْهَا ۖ وَلْيَضْرِبْنَ بِخُمُرِهِنَّ عَلَىٰ جُيُوبِهِنَّ ۖ وَلَا يُبْدِينَ زِينَتَهُنَّ إِلَّا لِبُعُولَتِهِنَّ أَوْ ءَابَآئِهِنَّ أَوْ ءَابَآءِ بُعُولَتِهِنَّ أَوْ أَبْنَآئِهِنَّ أَوْ أَبْنَآءِ بُعُولَتِهِنَّ أَوْ إِخْوَٰنِهِنَّ أَوْ بَنِىٓ إِخْوَٰنِهِنَّ أَوْ بَنِىٓ أَخَوَٰتِهِنَّ أَوْ نِسَآئِهِنَّ أَوْ مَا مَلَكَتْ أَيْمَٰنُهُنَّ أَوِ ٱلتَّٰبِعِينَ غَيْرِ أُو۟لِى ٱلْإِرْبَةِ مِنَ ٱلرِّجَالِ أَوِ ٱلطِّفْلِ ٱلَّذِينَ لَمْ يَظْهَرُوا۟ عَلَىٰ عَوْرَٰتِ ٱلنِّسَآءِ ۖ وَلَا يَضْرِبْنَ بِأَرْجُلِهِنَّ لِيُعْلَمَ مَا يُخْفِينَ مِن زِينَتِهِنَّ ۚ وَتُوبُوٓا۟ إِلَى ٱللَّهِ جَمِيعًا أَيُّهَ ٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُفْلِحُونَ

Wa qul lilmu'minaati yaghdudna min absaarihinna wa yahfazna furoojahunna wa laa yubdeena zeenatahunna illaa maa zahara minhaa walyadribna bikhumurihinna 'alaa juyoobihinna wa laa yubdeena zeenatahunna illaa libu'oolatihinna aw aabaaa'i hinna aw aabaaa'i bu'oolati hinna aw abnaaa'ihinaa aw abnaaa'i bu'oolatihinnna aw ikhwaanihinnna aw baneee ikhwaanihinna aw banee akhawaatihinna aw nisaaa'i hinna aw maa malakat aimaanuhunna awit taabi'eena ghairi ilil irbati minar rijaali awit tiflillazeena lam yazharoo 'alaa 'awraatin nisaaa'i wala yadribnna bi arjulihinna min zeenatihinn; wa toobooo ilallaahi jammee'an aiyuhal mu'minoona la'allakum tuflihoon

And tell the believing women to lower their gaze and be modest, and to display of their adornment only that which is apparent, and to draw their veils over their bosoms, and not to reveal their adornment save to their own husbands or fathers or husbands' fathers, or their sons or their husbands' sons, or their brothers or their brothers' sons or sisters' sons, or their women, or their slaves, or male attendants who lack vigour, or children who know naught of women's nakedness. And let them not stamp their feet so as to reveal what they hide of their adornment. And turn unto Allah together, O believers, in order that ye may succeed.

اور کہہ دے ایمان والیوں کو نیچی رکھیں ذرا اپنی آنکھیں اور تھامتی رہیں اپنے ستر کو اور نہ دکھائیں اپنا سنگار مگر جو کھلی چیز ہے اس میں سے [۴۷] اور ڈال لیں اپنی اوڑھنی اپنے گریبان پر [۴۸] اور نہ کھولیں اپنا سنگار مگر اپنے خاوند کے آگے یا اپنے باپ کے [۴۹] یا پنے خاوند کے باپ کے یا اپنے بیٹے کے یا اپنے خاوند کے بیٹے کے یا اپنے بھائی کے یا اپنے بھتیجوں کے یا اپنے بھانجوں کے یا اپنی عورتوں کے [۵۰] یا اپنے ہاتھ کے مال کے [۵۱] یا کاربار کرنے والوں کے (خدمت میں مشغول رہنے والوں کے) جو مرد کہ کچھ غرض نہیں رکھتے [۵۲] یا لڑکوں کے جنہوں نے ابھی نہیں پہچانا عورتوں کے بھید کو [۵۳] اور نہ ماریں زمین پر اپنے پاؤں کو کہ جانا جائے جو چھپاتی ہیں اپنا سنگار [۵۴] اور توبہ کرو اللہ کے آگے سب مل کر اے ایمان والو تاکہ تم بھلائی پاؤ [۵۵]

وَأَنكِحُوا۟ ٱلْأَيَٰمَىٰ مِنكُمْ وَٱلصَّٰلِحِينَ مِنْ عِبَادِكُمْ وَإِمَآئِكُمْ ۚ إِن يَكُونُوا۟ فُقَرَآءَ يُغْنِهِمُ ٱللَّهُ مِن فَضْلِهِۦ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ وَٰسِعٌ عَلِيمٌۭ

Wa ankihul ayaamaa minkum was saaliheena min 'ibaadikum wa imaa'kum; iny-yakoonoo fuqaraaa'a yughni himul laahu min fadlih; wal laahu Waasi'un 'Aleem

And marry such of you as are solitary and the pious of your slaves and maid-servants. If they be poor, Allah will enrich them of His bounty. Allah is of ample means, Aware.

اور نکاح کر دو رانڈوں کا اپنے اندر [۵۶] اور جو نیک ہوں تمہارے غلام اور لونڈیاں [۵۷] اگر وہ ہوں گے مفلس اللہ ان کو غنی کر دے گا اپنے فضل سے [۵۸] اور اللہ کشائش والا ہے سب کچھ جانتا ہے [۵۹]

وَلْيَسْتَعْفِفِ ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يَجِدُونَ نِكَاحًا حَتَّىٰ يُغْنِيَهُمُ ٱللَّهُ مِن فَضْلِهِۦ ۗ وَٱلَّذِينَ يَبْتَغُونَ ٱلْكِتَٰبَ مِمَّا مَلَكَتْ أَيْمَٰنُكُمْ فَكَاتِبُوهُمْ إِنْ عَلِمْتُمْ فِيهِمْ خَيْرًۭا ۖ وَءَاتُوهُم مِّن مَّالِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلَّذِىٓ ءَاتَىٰكُمْ ۚ وَلَا تُكْرِهُوا۟ فَتَيَٰتِكُمْ عَلَى ٱلْبِغَآءِ إِنْ أَرَدْنَ تَحَصُّنًۭا لِّتَبْتَغُوا۟ عَرَضَ ٱلْحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنْيَا ۚ وَمَن يُكْرِههُّنَّ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ مِنۢ بَعْدِ إِكْرَٰهِهِنَّ غَفُورٌۭ رَّحِيمٌۭ

Wal yasta'fifil lazeena laa yajidoona nikaahan hata yughniyahumul laahu mi fadlih; wallazeena yabtaghoonal kitaaba mimmaa malakat aimaanukum fakaatiboohum in 'alimtum feehim khairanw wa aatoohum mimmaalil laahil lazeee aataakum; wa laa tukrihoo fatayaatikum 'alal bighaaa'i in aradna tahassunal litabtaghoo 'aradal hayaatid dunyaa; wa mai yukrihhunna fa innal laaha mim ba'di ikraahihinna Ghafoor Raheem

And let those who cannot find a match keep chaste till Allah give them independence by His grace. And such of your slaves as seek a writing (of emancipation), write it for them if ye are aware of aught of good in them, and bestow upon them of the wealth of Allah which He hath bestowed upon you. Force not your slave-girls to whoredom that ye may seek enjoyment of the life of the world, if they would preserve their chastity. And if one force them, then (unto them), after their compulsion, lo! Allah will be Forgiving, Merciful.

اور اپنے آپ کو تھامتے رہیں جن کو نہیں ملتا سامان نکاح کا جب تک کہ مقدور دے ان کو اللہ اپنے فضل سے [۶۰] اور جو لوگ چاہیں لکھت آزادی کی مال دے کر ان میں سے کہ جو تمہارے ہاتھ کے مال ہیں (جن کے مالک ہیں تمہارےہاتھ) تو انکو لکھ کر دیدو اگر سمجھو ان میں کچھ نیکی [۶۱] اور دو ان کو اللہ کے مال سے جو اس نے تم کو دیا ہے [۶۲] اور نہ زبردستی کرو اپنی چھوکریوں پر بدکاری کے واسطے اگر وہ چاہیں قید سے رہنا کہ تم کمانا چاہو اسباب دنیا کی زندگانی کا [۶۳] اور جو کوئی ان پر زبردستی کرے گا تو اللہ ان کی بے بسی کے پیچھے بخشنے والا مہربان ہے [۶۴]

وَلَقَدْ أَنزَلْنَآ إِلَيْكُمْ ءَايَٰتٍۢ مُّبَيِّنَٰتٍۢ وَمَثَلًۭا مِّنَ ٱلَّذِينَ خَلَوْا۟ مِن قَبْلِكُمْ وَمَوْعِظَةًۭ لِّلْمُتَّقِينَ

Wa laqad anzalnaaa ilaikum Aayaatim mubaiyinaatinw wa masalam minnal lazeena khalaw min qablikum wa maw'izatal lilmuttaqeen

And verily We have sent down for you revelations that make plain, and the example of those who passed away before you. An admonition unto those who ward off (evil).

اور ہم نے اتاریں تمہاری طرف آیتیں کھلی ہوئی اور کچھ حال انکا جو ہو چکے تم سے پہلے اور نصیحت ڈرنے والوں کو [۶۵]

۞ ٱللَّهُ نُورُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ ۚ مَثَلُ نُورِهِۦ كَمِشْكَوٰةٍۢ فِيهَا مِصْبَاحٌ ۖ ٱلْمِصْبَاحُ فِى زُجَاجَةٍ ۖ ٱلزُّجَاجَةُ كَأَنَّهَا كَوْكَبٌۭ دُرِّىٌّۭ يُوقَدُ مِن شَجَرَةٍۢ مُّبَٰرَكَةٍۢ زَيْتُونَةٍۢ لَّا شَرْقِيَّةٍۢ وَلَا غَرْبِيَّةٍۢ يَكَادُ زَيْتُهَا يُضِىٓءُ وَلَوْ لَمْ تَمْسَسْهُ نَارٌۭ ۚ نُّورٌ عَلَىٰ نُورٍۢ ۗ يَهْدِى ٱللَّهُ لِنُورِهِۦ مَن يَشَآءُ ۚ وَيَضْرِبُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلْأَمْثَٰلَ لِلنَّاسِ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ بِكُلِّ شَىْءٍ عَلِيمٌۭ

Allaahu noorus samaawaati wal ard; masalu noorihee kamishkaatin feehaa misbaah; almisbaahu fee zujaajatin azzujaajatu ka annahaa kawkabun durriyyuny yooqadu min shajaratim mubaarakatin zaitoonatil laa shariqiyyatinw wa laa gharbiyyatiny yakaadu zaituhaa yudeee'u wa law alm tamsashu naar; noorun 'alaa noor; yahdil laahu linoorihee mai yashaaa'; wa yadribul laahul amsaala linnaas; wallaahu bikulli shai'in Aleem

Allah is the Light of the heavens and the earth. The similitude of His light is as a niche wherein is a lamp. The lamp is in a glass. The glass is as it were a shining star. (This lamp is) kindled from a blessed tree, an olive neither of the East nor of the West, whose oil would almost glow forth (of itself) though no fire touched it. Light upon light. Allah guideth unto His light whom He will. And Allah speaketh to mankind in allegories, for Allah is Knower of all things.

اللہ روشنی ہے آسمانوں اور زمین کی [۶۶] مثال اس کی روشنی کی جیسے ایک طاق اس میں ہو ایک چراغ وہ چراغ دھرا ہو ایک شیشہ میں وہ شیشہ ہے جیسے ایک تارہ چمکتا ہوا تیل جلتا ہے اس میں ایک برکت کے درخت کا وہ زیتون ہے نہ مشرق کی طرف ہے اور نہ مغرب کی طرف قریب ہے اس کا تیل کہ روشن ہو جائے اگرچہ نہ لگی ہو اس میں آگ روشنی پر روشنی اللہ راہ دکھلا دیتا ہے اپنی روشنی کی جس کو چاہے اور بیان کرتا ہے اللہ مثالیں لوگوں کے واسطے اور اللہ سب چیز کو جانتا ہے [۶۷]

فِى بُيُوتٍ أَذِنَ ٱللَّهُ أَن تُرْفَعَ وَيُذْكَرَ فِيهَا ٱسْمُهُۥ يُسَبِّحُ لَهُۥ فِيهَا بِٱلْغُدُوِّ وَٱلْءَاصَالِ

Fee buyootin azinal laahu an turfa'a wa yuzkara feehasmuhoo yusabbihu lahoo feehaa bilghuduwwi wal aasaal

(This lamp is found) in houses which Allah hath allowed to be exalted and that His name shall be remembered therein. Therein do offer praise to Him at morn and evening.

ان گھروں میں کہ اللہ نے حکم دیا انکو بلند کرنے کا [۶۸] اور و ہاں اس کا نام پڑھنے کا [۶۹] یاد کرتے ہیں اسکی وہاں صبح و شام [۷۰]

رِجَالٌۭ لَّا تُلْهِيهِمْ تِجَٰرَةٌۭ وَلَا بَيْعٌ عَن ذِكْرِ ٱللَّهِ وَإِقَامِ ٱلصَّلَوٰةِ وَإِيتَآءِ ٱلزَّكَوٰةِ ۙ يَخَافُونَ يَوْمًۭا تَتَقَلَّبُ فِيهِ ٱلْقُلُوبُ وَٱلْأَبْصَٰرُ

Rinjaalul laa tulheehim tijaaratunw wa laa bai'un 'an zikril laahi wa iqaamis Salaati wa eetaaa'iz Zakaati yakkhaafoona Yawman tataqallabu feehil quloobu wal absaar

Men whom neither merchandise nor sale beguileth from remembrance of Allah and constancy in prayer and paying to the poor their due; who fear a day when hearts and eyeballs will be overturned;

وہ مرد کہ نہیں غافل ہوتے سودا کرنے میں اور نہ بیچنے میں اللہ کی یاد سے اور نماز قائم رکھنے سے اور زکوٰۃ دینے سے [۷۱] ڈرتے رہتے ہیں اس دن سے جس میں الٹ جائیں گے دل اور آنکھیں [۷۲]

لِيَجْزِيَهُمُ ٱللَّهُ أَحْسَنَ مَا عَمِلُوا۟ وَيَزِيدَهُم مِّن فَضْلِهِۦ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ يَرْزُقُ مَن يَشَآءُ بِغَيْرِ حِسَابٍۢ

Liyajziyahumul laahu ahsana maa 'amiloo wa yazeedahum min fadlih; wal laahu yarzuqu mai yashaaa'u bighairi hisaab

That Allah may reward them with the best of what they did, and increase reward for them of His bounty. Allah giveth blessings without stint to whom He will.

تاکہ بدلہ دے انکو اللہ انکے بہتر سے بہتر کاموں کا اور زیادتی دے انکو اپنے فضل سے [۷۳] اور اللہ روزی دیتا ہے جس کو چاہے بے شمار [۷۴]

وَٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوٓا۟ أَعْمَٰلُهُمْ كَسَرَابٍۭ بِقِيعَةٍۢ يَحْسَبُهُ ٱلظَّمْـَٔانُ مَآءً حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا جَآءَهُۥ لَمْ يَجِدْهُ شَيْـًۭٔا وَوَجَدَ ٱللَّهَ عِندَهُۥ فَوَفَّىٰهُ حِسَابَهُۥ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ سَرِيعُ ٱلْحِسَابِ

Wallazeena kafarooo a'maaluhum kasaraabim biqee'atiny yahsabuhuz zamaanu maaa'an hattaaa izaa jaaa'ahoo lam yajid hu shai'anw wa wajadal laaha 'indahoo fa waffaahu hisaabah; wallaahu saree'ul hisaab

As for those who disbelieve, their deeds are as a mirage in a desert. The thirsty one supposeth it to be water till he cometh unto it and findeth it naught, and findeth, in the place thereof, Allah Who payeth him his due; and Allah is swift at reckoning.

اور جو لوگ منکر ہیں ان کے کام جیسے ریت جنگل میں پیاسا جانے اس کو پانی یہاں تک کہ جب پہنچا اس پر اس کو کچھ نہ پایا اور اللہ کو پایا اپنے پاس پھر اسکو پورا پہنچا دیا اس کا لکھا اور اللہ جلد لینے والا ہے حساب [۷۵]

أَوْ كَظُلُمَٰتٍۢ فِى بَحْرٍۢ لُّجِّىٍّۢ يَغْشَىٰهُ مَوْجٌۭ مِّن فَوْقِهِۦ مَوْجٌۭ مِّن فَوْقِهِۦ سَحَابٌۭ ۚ ظُلُمَٰتٌۢ بَعْضُهَا فَوْقَ بَعْضٍ إِذَآ أَخْرَجَ يَدَهُۥ لَمْ يَكَدْ يَرَىٰهَا ۗ وَمَن لَّمْ يَجْعَلِ ٱللَّهُ لَهُۥ نُورًۭا فَمَا لَهُۥ مِن نُّورٍ

Aw kazulumaatin fee bahril lujjiyyiny yaghshaahu mawjum min fawqihee mawjum min fawqihee mawjum min fawqihee sahaab; zulumatum ba'duhaa fawqa ba'din izaaa akhraja yadahoo lam yakad yaraahaa wa mal lam yaj'alil laahu lahoo noora famaa lahoo min noor

Or as darkness on a vast, abysmal sea. There covereth him a wave, above which is a wave, above which is a cloud. Layer upon layer of darkness. When he holdeth out his hand he scarce can see it. And he for whom Allah hath not appointed light, for him there is no light.

یا جیسے اندھیرے گہرے دریا میں چڑھی آتی ہے اس پر ایک لہر اس پر ایک اور لہر اس کے اوپر بادل اندھیرے ہیں ایک پر ایک [۷۶] جب نکالے اپنا ہاتھ لگتا نہیں کہ اس کو وہ سوجھے [۷۷] اور جسکو اللہ نے نہ دی روشنی اسکے واسطے کہیں نہیں روشنی [۷۸]

أَلَمْ تَرَ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ يُسَبِّحُ لَهُۥ مَن فِى ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَٱلطَّيْرُ صَٰٓفَّٰتٍۢ ۖ كُلٌّۭ قَدْ عَلِمَ صَلَاتَهُۥ وَتَسْبِيحَهُۥ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ عَلِيمٌۢ بِمَا يَفْعَلُونَ

Alam tara annal laaha yusabbihu lahoo man fissamaawaati wal ardi wat tairu saaaffaatim kullun qad 'alima Salaatahoo wa tasbeehah; wallaahu 'aleemum bimaa yaf'aloon

Hast thou not seen that Allah, He it is Whom all who are in the heavens and the earth praise, and the birds in their flight? Of each He knoweth verily the worship and the praise; and Allah is Aware of what they do.

کیا تو نہ نے دیکھا کہ اللہ کی یاد کرتے ہیں جو کوئی ہیں آسمان و زمین میں اور اڑتے جانور پر کھولے ہوئے [۷۹] ہر ایک نے جان رکھی ہے اپنی طرح کی بندگی اور یاد [۸۰] اور اللہ کو معلوم ہے جو کچھ کرتے ہیں [۸۱]

وَلِلَّهِ مُلْكُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ ۖ وَإِلَى ٱللَّهِ ٱلْمَصِيرُ

Wa lillaahi mulkus samaawaati wal ardi wa ilal laahil maseer

And unto Allah belongeth the Sovereignty of the heavens and the earth, and unto Allah is the journeying.

اور اللہ کی حکومت ہے آسمان اور زمین میں اور اللہ ہی تک پھر جانا ہے [۸۲]

أَلَمْ تَرَ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ يُزْجِى سَحَابًۭا ثُمَّ يُؤَلِّفُ بَيْنَهُۥ ثُمَّ يَجْعَلُهُۥ رُكَامًۭا فَتَرَى ٱلْوَدْقَ يَخْرُجُ مِنْ خِلَٰلِهِۦ وَيُنَزِّلُ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مِن جِبَالٍۢ فِيهَا مِنۢ بَرَدٍۢ فَيُصِيبُ بِهِۦ مَن يَشَآءُ وَيَصْرِفُهُۥ عَن مَّن يَشَآءُ ۖ يَكَادُ سَنَا بَرْقِهِۦ يَذْهَبُ بِٱلْأَبْصَٰرِ

Alam tara annal laaha yuzjee sahaaban summa yu'allifu bainahoo summa yaj'aluhoo rukaaman fataral wadqa yakhruju min khilaalihee wa yunazzilu minas samaaa'i min jibaalin feehaa mim barain fa yuseebu bihee mai yashaaa'u wa yasrifuhoo 'am mai yashaaa'u yakkaadu sanaa barqihee yazhabu bil absaar

Hast thou not seen how Allah wafteth the clouds, then gathereth them, then maketh them layers, and thou seest the rain come forth from between them; He sendeth down from the heaven mountains wherein is hail, and smiteth therewith whom He will, and averteth it from whom He will. The flashing of His lightning all but snatcheth away the sight.

تو نے نہ دیکھا اللہ ہانک لاتا ہے بادل کو پھر انکو ملا دیتا ہے پھر انکو رکھتا ہے تہ بر تہ پھر تو دیکھے مینہ نکلتا ہے اس کے بیچ سے [۸۳] اور اتارتا ہے آسمان سے اس میں جو پہاڑ ہیں اولوں کے پھر وہ ڈالتا ہے جس پر چاہے اور بچا دیتا ہے جس سے چاہے [۸۴] ابھی اس کی بجلی کی کوند لیجائے آنکھوں کو [۸۵]

يُقَلِّبُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّيْلَ وَٱلنَّهَارَ ۚ إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَعِبْرَةًۭ لِّأُو۟لِى ٱلْأَبْصَٰرِ

Yuqallibul laahul laila wannahaar; inna fee zaalika la'ibratal li ulil absaar

Allah causeth the revolution of the day and the night. Lo! herein is indeed a lesson for those who see.

اللہ بدلتا ہے رات اور دن کو [۸۶] اس میں دھیان کرنے کی جگہ ہے آنکھ والوں کو [۸۷]

وَٱللَّهُ خَلَقَ كُلَّ دَآبَّةٍۢ مِّن مَّآءٍۢ ۖ فَمِنْهُم مَّن يَمْشِى عَلَىٰ بَطْنِهِۦ وَمِنْهُم مَّن يَمْشِى عَلَىٰ رِجْلَيْنِ وَمِنْهُم مَّن يَمْشِى عَلَىٰٓ أَرْبَعٍۢ ۚ يَخْلُقُ ٱللَّهُ مَا يَشَآءُ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍۢ قَدِيرٌۭ

Wallaahu khalaqa kulla daaabbatim mim maaa'in faminhum mai yamshee 'alaa batnihee wa minhum mai yamshee 'alaa rijlaine wa minhum mai yamshee 'alaaa arba'; yakhluqul laahu maa yashaaa'; innal laaha 'alaa kulli shai'in Qadeer

Allah hath created every animal of water. Of them is (a kind) that goeth upon its belly and (a kind) that goeth upon two legs and (a kind) that goeth upon four. Allah createth what He will. Lo! Allah is Able to do all things.

اور اللہ نے بنایا ہر پھرنے والے کو ایک پانی سے [۸۸] پھر کوئی ہے کہ چلتا ہے اپنے پیٹ پر [۸۹] اور کوئی ہے کہ چلتا ہے دو پاؤں پر [۹۰] اور کوئی ہے کہ چلتا ہے چار پر [۹۱] بناتا ہے اللہ جو چاہتا ہے بیشک اللہ ہر چیز کر سکتا ہے [۹۲]

لَّقَدْ أَنزَلْنَآ ءَايَٰتٍۢ مُّبَيِّنَٰتٍۢ ۚ وَٱللَّهُ يَهْدِى مَن يَشَآءُ إِلَىٰ صِرَٰطٍۢ مُّسْتَقِيمٍۢ

Laqad anzalnaaa Aayaatim mubaiyinaat; wallaahu yahdee mai yashaaa'u ilaa Siraatim Mustaqeem

Verily We have sent down revelations and explained them. Allah guideth whom He will unto a straight path.

ہم نے اتاریں آیتیں کھول کھول کر بتلانے والی اور اللہ چلائے جس کو چاہے سیدھی راہ پر [۹۳]

وَيَقُولُونَ ءَامَنَّا بِٱللَّهِ وَبِٱلرَّسُولِ وَأَطَعْنَا ثُمَّ يَتَوَلَّىٰ فَرِيقٌۭ مِّنْهُم مِّنۢ بَعْدِ ذَٰلِكَ ۚ وَمَآ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ بِٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ

Wa yaqooloona aamannaa billaahi wa bir Rasooli wa ata'naa summa yatawallaa fareequm minhum mim ba'di zaalik; wa maaa ulaaa'ika bilmu'mineen

And they say: We believe in Allah and the messenger, and we obey; then after that a faction of them turn away. Such are not believers.

اور لوگ کہتے ہیں ہم نے مانا اللہ کو اور رسول کو اور حکم میں آ گئے پھر پھر جاتا ہے ایک فرقہ ان میں سے اس کے پیچھے اور وہ لوگ نہیں ماننے والے [۹۴]

وَإِذَا دُعُوٓا۟ إِلَى ٱللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِۦ لِيَحْكُمَ بَيْنَهُمْ إِذَا فَرِيقٌۭ مِّنْهُم مُّعْرِضُونَ

Wa izaa du'ooo ilal laahi wa Rasoolihee li yahkuma bainahum izaa fareequm minhum mu'ridoon

And when they appeal unto Allah and His messenger to judge between them, lo! a faction of them are averse;

اور جب ان کو بلائیے اللہ اور رسول کی طرف کہ ان میں قضیہ چکائے تبھی ایک فرقہ کے لوگ ان میں منہ موڑتے ہیں

وَإِن يَكُن لَّهُمُ ٱلْحَقُّ يَأْتُوٓا۟ إِلَيْهِ مُذْعِنِينَ

Wa iny-yakul lahumul haqqu yaatooo ilaihi muz'ineen

But if right had been with them they would have come unto him willingly.

اور اگر ان کو کچھ پہنچتا ہو تو چلے آئیں اس کی طرف قبول کر کر [۹۵]

أَفِى قُلُوبِهِم مَّرَضٌ أَمِ ٱرْتَابُوٓا۟ أَمْ يَخَافُونَ أَن يَحِيفَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيْهِمْ وَرَسُولُهُۥ ۚ بَلْ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلظَّٰلِمُونَ

Afee quloobihim ma radun amirtaabooo am yakhaafoona ani yaheefallaahu 'alaihim wa Rasooluh; bal ulaaa'ika humuz zaalimoon

Is there in their hearts a disease, or have they doubts, or fear they lest Allah and His messenger should wrong them in judgment? Nay, but such are evil-doers.

کیا انکے دلوں میں روگ ہے [۹۶] یا دھوکے میں پڑے ہوئے ہیں یا ڈرتے ہیں کہ بے انصافی کرے گا ان پر اللہ اور اس کا رسول کچھ نہیں وہی لوگ بے انصاف ہیں [۹۷]

إِنَّمَا كَانَ قَوْلَ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ إِذَا دُعُوٓا۟ إِلَى ٱللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِۦ لِيَحْكُمَ بَيْنَهُمْ أَن يَقُولُوا۟ سَمِعْنَا وَأَطَعْنَا ۚ وَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْمُفْلِحُونَ

Innamaa kaana qawlal mu'mineena izaa du'ooo ilal laahi wa Rasoolihee li yahkuma bainahum ai yaqooloo sami'naa wa ata'naa; wa ulaaa'ika humul muflihoon

The saying of (all true) believers when they appeal unto Allah and His messenger to judge between them is only that they say: We hear and we obey. And such are the successful.

ایمان والوں کی بات یہی تھی کہ جب بلائیے انکو اللہ اور رسول کی طرف فیصلہ کرنے کو ان میں تو کہیں ہم نے سن لیا اور حکم مان لیا اور وہ لوگ کہ انہی کا بھلا ہے [۹۸]

وَمَن يُطِعِ ٱللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُۥ وَيَخْشَ ٱللَّهَ وَيَتَّقْهِ فَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْفَآئِزُونَ

Wa mai yuti'il laaha wa Rasoolahoo wa yakhshal laaha wa yattaqhi fa ulaaa'ika humul faaa'izoon

He who obeyeth Allah and His messenger, and feareth Allah, and keepeth duty (unto Him): such indeed are the victorious.

اور جو کوئی حکم پر چلے اللہ کے اور اسکے رسول کے اور ڈرتا رہے اللہ سے اور بچکر چلے اس سے سو وہی لوگ ہیں مراد کو پہنچنے والے [۹۹]

۞ وَأَقْسَمُوا۟ بِٱللَّهِ جَهْدَ أَيْمَٰنِهِمْ لَئِنْ أَمَرْتَهُمْ لَيَخْرُجُنَّ ۖ قُل لَّا تُقْسِمُوا۟ ۖ طَاعَةٌۭ مَّعْرُوفَةٌ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ خَبِيرٌۢ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ

Wa aqsamoo billaahi jahda aimaanihim la'in amartahum la yakhrujunna qul laa tuqsimoo taa'atum ma'roofah innal laaha khabeerum bimaa ta'maloon

They swear by Allah solemnly that, if thou order them, they will go forth. Say: Swear not; known obedience (is better). Lo! Allah is Informed of what ye do.

اور قسمیں کھاتے ہیں اللہ کی اپنی تاکید کی قسمیں کہ اگر تو حکم کرےتو سب کچھ چھوڑ کر نکل جائیں تو کہہ قسمیں نہ کھاؤ حکمبرداری چاہئے جو دستور ہے البتہ اللہ کو خبر ہے جو تم کرتے ہو [۱۰۰]

قُلْ أَطِيعُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُوا۟ ٱلرَّسُولَ ۖ فَإِن تَوَلَّوْا۟ فَإِنَّمَا عَلَيْهِ مَا حُمِّلَ وَعَلَيْكُم مَّا حُمِّلْتُمْ ۖ وَإِن تُطِيعُوهُ تَهْتَدُوا۟ ۚ وَمَا عَلَى ٱلرَّسُولِ إِلَّا ٱلْبَلَٰغُ ٱلْمُبِينُ

Qul atee'ul laaha wa atee'ur Rasoola fa in tawallaw fa innamaa 'alaihi maa hummila wa 'alaikum maa hummiltum wa in tutee'oohu tahtadoo; wa maa'alar Rasooli illal balaaghul mubeen

Say: Obey Allah and obey the messenger. But if ye turn away, then (it is) for him (to do) only that wherewith he hath been charged, and for you (to do) only that wherewith ye have been charged. If ye obey him, ye will go aright. But the messenger hath no other charge than to convey (the message) plainly.

تو کہہ حکم مانو اللہ کا اور حکم مانو رسول کا پھر اگر تم منہ پھیرو گے تو اس کا ذمہ ہے جو بوجھ اس پر رکھا اور تمہارا ذمہ ہے جو بوجھ تم پر رکھا اور اگر اس کا کہا مانو تو راہ پاؤ اور پیغام لانے والے کا ذمہ نہیں مگر پہنچا دینا کھول کر [۱۰۱]

وَعَدَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ مِنكُمْ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ لَيَسْتَخْلِفَنَّهُمْ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ كَمَا ٱسْتَخْلَفَ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ وَلَيُمَكِّنَنَّ لَهُمْ دِينَهُمُ ٱلَّذِى ٱرْتَضَىٰ لَهُمْ وَلَيُبَدِّلَنَّهُم مِّنۢ بَعْدِ خَوْفِهِمْ أَمْنًۭا ۚ يَعْبُدُونَنِى لَا يُشْرِكُونَ بِى شَيْـًۭٔا ۚ وَمَن كَفَرَ بَعْدَ ذَٰلِكَ فَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْفَٰسِقُونَ

Wa'adal laahul lazeena aamanoo minkum wa 'amilus saalihaati la yastakhlifan nahum fil ardi kamastakh lafal lazeena min qablihim wa la yumakkinanna lahum deenahumul lazir tadaa lahum wa la yubaddilannahum mim ba'di khawfihim amnaa; ya'budoonanee laayushrikoona bee shai'aa; wa man kafara ba'da zaalika fa ulaaa'ika humul faasiqoon

Allah hath promised such of you as believe and do good work that He will surely make them to succeed (the present rulers) in the earth even as He caused those who were before them to succeed (others); and that He will surely establish for them their religion which He hath approved for them, and will give them in exchange safety after their fear. They serve Me. They ascribe no thing as partner unto Me. Those who disbelieve henceforth, they are the miscreants.

وعدہ کر لیا اللہ نے ان لوگوں سے جو تم میں ایمان لائے ہیں اور کئے ہیں انہوں نے نیک کام البتہ پیچھے حاکم کر دے گا انکو ملک میں جیسا حاکم کیا تھا ان سے اگلوں کو اور جما دے گا ان کے لئے دین ان کا جو پسند کر دیا انکے واسطے اور دے گا ان کو ان کے ڈر کے بدلے میں امن میری بندگی کریں گے شریک نہ کریں گے میرا کسی کو [۱۰۲] اور جو کوئی ناشکری کرے گا اسکے پیچھے سو وہی لوگ ہیں نافرمان [۱۰۳]

وَأَقِيمُوا۟ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَءَاتُوا۟ ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ وَأَطِيعُوا۟ ٱلرَّسُولَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُرْحَمُونَ

Wa aqeemus Salaata wa aatuz Zakaata wa atee'ur Rasoola la'allakum turhamoon

Establish worship and pay the poor-due and obey the messenger, that haply ye may find mercy.

اور قائم رکھو نماز اور دیتے رہو زکوٰۃ اور حکم پر چلو رسول کے تاکہ تم پر رحم ہو [۱۰۴]

لَا تَحْسَبَنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ مُعْجِزِينَ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ ۚ وَمَأْوَىٰهُمُ ٱلنَّارُ ۖ وَلَبِئْسَ ٱلْمَصِيرُ

Laa tahsabannal lazeena kafaroo mu'jizeena fil ard; wa maawaahumun Naaru wa labi'sal maseer

Think not that the disbelievers can escape in the land. Fire will be their home - a hapless journey's end!

نہ خیال کر کہ یہ جو کافر ہیں تھکا دیں گے بھاگ کر ملک میں اور ان کا ٹھکانہ آگ ہے اور وہ بری جگہ ہے پھر جانے کی [۱۰۵]

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ لِيَسْتَـْٔذِنكُمُ ٱلَّذِينَ مَلَكَتْ أَيْمَٰنُكُمْ وَٱلَّذِينَ لَمْ يَبْلُغُوا۟ ٱلْحُلُمَ مِنكُمْ ثَلَٰثَ مَرَّٰتٍۢ ۚ مِّن قَبْلِ صَلَوٰةِ ٱلْفَجْرِ وَحِينَ تَضَعُونَ ثِيَابَكُم مِّنَ ٱلظَّهِيرَةِ وَمِنۢ بَعْدِ صَلَوٰةِ ٱلْعِشَآءِ ۚ ثَلَٰثُ عَوْرَٰتٍۢ لَّكُمْ ۚ لَيْسَ عَلَيْكُمْ وَلَا عَلَيْهِمْ جُنَاحٌۢ بَعْدَهُنَّ ۚ طَوَّٰفُونَ عَلَيْكُم بَعْضُكُمْ عَلَىٰ بَعْضٍۢ ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ يُبَيِّنُ ٱللَّهُ لَكُمُ ٱلْءَايَٰتِ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ عَلِيمٌ حَكِيمٌۭ

Yaaa aiyuhal lazeena aamanoo li yastaazinkumul lazeena malakat aimaanukum wallazeena lam yablughul huluma minkum salaasa marraat; min qabli Salaatil Fajri wa heena tada'oona siyaa bakum minaz zaheerati wa mim ba'di Salaatil Ishaaa'; salaasu 'awraatil lakum; laisa 'alaikum wa laa 'alaihim junaahum ba'dahunn; tawwaafoona 'alaikum ba'dukum 'alaa ba'd; kazaalika yubaiyinul laahu lakumul aayaat wallaahu 'Aleemun Hakeem

O ye who believe! Let your slaves, and those of you who have not come to puberty, ask leave of you at three times (before they come into your presence): Before the prayer of dawn, and when ye lay aside your raiment for the heat of noon, and after the prayer of night. Three times of privacy for you. It is no sin for them or for you at other times, when some of you go round attendant upon others (if they come into your presence without leave). Thus Allah maketh clear the revelations for you. Allah is Knower, Wise.

اے ایمان والو اجازت لیکر آئیں تم سے جو تمہارےہاتھ کے مال ہیں [۱۰۶] اور جو کہ نہیں پہنچے تم میں عقل کی حد کو تین بار فجر کی نماز سے پہلے اور جب اتار رکھتے ہو اپنے کپڑے دوپہر میں اور عشاء کی نماز سے پیچھے یہ تین وقت بدن کھلنے کے ہیں تمہارے [۱۰۷] کچھ تنگی نہیں تم پر اور ان پر ان وقتوں کے پیچھے پھرا ہی کرتے ہو ایک دوسرے کے پاس [۱۰۸] یوں کھولتا ہے اللہ تمہارے آگے باتیں اور اللہ سب کچھ جاننے والا حکمت والا ہے

وَإِذَا بَلَغَ ٱلْأَطْفَٰلُ مِنكُمُ ٱلْحُلُمَ فَلْيَسْتَـْٔذِنُوا۟ كَمَا ٱسْتَـْٔذَنَ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ يُبَيِّنُ ٱللَّهُ لَكُمْ ءَايَٰتِهِۦ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ عَلِيمٌ حَكِيمٌۭ

Wa izaa balaghal atfaalu minkumul huluma fal yastaazinoo kamas taazanal lazeena min qablihim; kazaalika yubaiyinul laahu lakum Aayaatih; wallaahu 'Aleemun Hakeem

And when the children among you come to puberty then let them ask leave even as those before them used to ask it. Thus Allah maketh clear His revelations for you. Allah is Knower, Wise.

اور جب پہنچیں لڑکے تم میں کے عقل کی حد کو تو انکو ویسی ہی اجازت لینی چاہئے جیسے لیتے رہے ہیں ان سے اگلے [۱۰۹] یوں کھول کر سناتا ہے اللہ تم کو اپنی باتیں اور اللہ سب کچھ جاننے والا حکمت والا ہے

وَٱلْقَوَٰعِدُ مِنَ ٱلنِّسَآءِ ٱلَّٰتِى لَا يَرْجُونَ نِكَاحًۭا فَلَيْسَ عَلَيْهِنَّ جُنَاحٌ أَن يَضَعْنَ ثِيَابَهُنَّ غَيْرَ مُتَبَرِّجَٰتٍۭ بِزِينَةٍۢ ۖ وَأَن يَسْتَعْفِفْنَ خَيْرٌۭ لَّهُنَّ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ سَمِيعٌ عَلِيمٌۭ

Walqawaa'idu minan nisaaa'il laatee laa yarjoona nikaahan falisa 'alaihinna junaahun ai yada'na siyaabahunna ghaira mutabar rijaatim bizeenah; wa ai yasta'fifna khairul lahunn; wallaahu Samee'un 'Aleem

As for women past child-bearing, who have no hope of marriage, it is no sin for them if they discard their (outer) clothing in such a way as not to show adornment. But to refrain is better for them. Allah is Hearer, Knower.

اور جو بیٹھ رہی ہیں گھروں میں تمہاری عورتوں میں سے جنکو توقع نہیں رہی نکاح کی ان پرگناہ نہیں کہ اتار رکھیں اپنے کپڑے یہ نہیں کہ دکھاتی پھریں اپنا سنگار اور اس سے بھی بچیں تو بہتر ہے انکے لئے [۱۱۰] اور اللہ سب باتیں سنتا جانتا ہے [۱۱۱]

لَّيْسَ عَلَى ٱلْأَعْمَىٰ حَرَجٌۭ وَلَا عَلَى ٱلْأَعْرَجِ حَرَجٌۭ وَلَا عَلَى ٱلْمَرِيضِ حَرَجٌۭ وَلَا عَلَىٰٓ أَنفُسِكُمْ أَن تَأْكُلُوا۟ مِنۢ بُيُوتِكُمْ أَوْ بُيُوتِ ءَابَآئِكُمْ أَوْ بُيُوتِ أُمَّهَٰتِكُمْ أَوْ بُيُوتِ إِخْوَٰنِكُمْ أَوْ بُيُوتِ أَخَوَٰتِكُمْ أَوْ بُيُوتِ أَعْمَٰمِكُمْ أَوْ بُيُوتِ عَمَّٰتِكُمْ أَوْ بُيُوتِ أَخْوَٰلِكُمْ أَوْ بُيُوتِ خَٰلَٰتِكُمْ أَوْ مَا مَلَكْتُم مَّفَاتِحَهُۥٓ أَوْ صَدِيقِكُمْ ۚ لَيْسَ عَلَيْكُمْ جُنَاحٌ أَن تَأْكُلُوا۟ جَمِيعًا أَوْ أَشْتَاتًۭا ۚ فَإِذَا دَخَلْتُم بُيُوتًۭا فَسَلِّمُوا۟ عَلَىٰٓ أَنفُسِكُمْ تَحِيَّةًۭ مِّنْ عِندِ ٱللَّهِ مُبَٰرَكَةًۭ طَيِّبَةًۭ ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ يُبَيِّنُ ٱللَّهُ لَكُمُ ٱلْءَايَٰتِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَعْقِلُونَ

Laisa 'alal a'maa barajunw wa laa 'alal a'raji barajunw wa laa 'alal mareedi barajun wa laa 'alaa anfusikum an taakuloo mim buyootikum aw buyooti aabaaa'ikum aw buyooti ummahaatikum aw buyooti ikhwaanikum aw buyooti akhawaatikum aw buyooti a'maamikum aw buyooti 'ammaatikum aw buyooti akhwaalikum aw buyooti khaalaatikum aw maa malaktum mafaatihahooo aw sadeeqikum; laisa 'alaikum junaahun an taakuloo jamee'an aw ashtaata; fa izaa dakhaltum buyootan fasallimoo 'alaaa anfusikum tahiyyatam min 'indil laahi mubaarakatan taiyibah; kazaalika yubai yinul laahu lakumul Aayaati la'allakum ta'qiloon

No blame is there upon the blind nor any blame upon the lame nor any blame upon the sick nor on yourselves if ye eat from your houses, or the houses of your fathers, or the houses of your mothers, or the houses of your brothers, or the houses of your sisters, or the houses of your fathers' brothers, or the houses of your fathers' sisters, or the houses of your mothers' brothers, or the houses of your mothers' sisters, or (from that) whereof ye hold the keys, or (from the house) of a friend. No sin shall it be for you whether ye eat together or apart. But when ye enter houses, salute one another with a greeting from Allah, blessed and sweet. Thus Allah maketh clear His revelations for you, that haply ye may understand.

نہیں ہے اندھے پر کچھ تکلیف اور نہ لنگڑے پر تکلیف اور نہ بیمار پر تکلیف [۱۱۲] اور نہیں تکلیف تم لوگوں پر کہ کھاؤ اپنے گھروں سے یا اپنے باپ کے گھر سے یا اپنی ماں کے گھر سے یا اپنے بھائی کے گھر سے یا اپنی بہن کے گھر سے یا اپنے چچا کے گھر سے یا اپنی پھوپھی کے گھر سے یا اپنے ماموں کے گھر سے یا اپنی خالہ کے گھر سے یا جس گھر کی کنجیوں کے تم مالک ہو یا اپنے دوست کے گھر سے [۱۱۳] نہیں گناہ تم پر کہ کھاؤ آپس میں مل کر یا جدا ہو کر پھر جب کبھی جانے لگو گھروں میں تو سلام کہو اپنے لوگوں پر نیک دعا ہے اللہ کے یہاں سے برکت والی ستھری یوں کھولتا ہے اللہ تمہارے آگے اپنی باتیں تاکہ تم سمجھ لو [۱۱۴]

إِنَّمَا ٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ بِٱللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِۦ وَإِذَا كَانُوا۟ مَعَهُۥ عَلَىٰٓ أَمْرٍۢ جَامِعٍۢ لَّمْ يَذْهَبُوا۟ حَتَّىٰ يَسْتَـْٔذِنُوهُ ۚ إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ يَسْتَـْٔذِنُونَكَ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ ٱلَّذِينَ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِٱللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِۦ ۚ فَإِذَا ٱسْتَـْٔذَنُوكَ لِبَعْضِ شَأْنِهِمْ فَأْذَن لِّمَن شِئْتَ مِنْهُمْ وَٱسْتَغْفِرْ لَهُمُ ٱللَّهَ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ غَفُورٌۭ رَّحِيمٌۭ

Innamal mu'minoonal lazeena aamanoo billaahi wa Rasoolihee wa izaa kaanoo ma'ahoo 'alaaa amrin jaami'il lam yazhaboo hataa yastaazinooh; innal lazeena yastaa zinookana ulaaa'ikal lazeena yu'minoona billaahi wa Rasoolih; fa izas taazanooka liba'di shaanihim faazal liman shi'ta minhum wastaghfir lahumul laah; innal laaha Gahfoor Raheem

They only are the true believers who believe in Allah and His messenger and, when they are with him on some common errand, go not away until they have asked leave of him. Lo! those who ask leave of thee, those are they who believe in Allah and His messenger. So, if they ask thy leave for some affair of theirs, give leave to whom thou wilt of them, and ask for them forgiveness of Allah. Lo! Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.

ایمان والے وہ ہیں جو یقین لائے اللہ پر اور اسکے رسول پر اور جب ہوتے ہیں اس کے ساتھ کسی جمع ہونے کے کام میں تو چلے نہیں جاتے جب تک اس سے اجازت نہ لے لیں جو لوگ تجھ سے اجازت لیتے ہیں وہی ہیں جو مانتے ہیں اللہ کو اور اس کے رسول کو [۱۱۵] پھر جب اجازت مانگیں تجھ سے اپنے کسی کام کے لئے تو اجازت دے جس کو ان میں سے تو چاہے اور معافی مانگ انکے واسطے اللہ سے اللہ بخشنے والا مہربان ہے [۱۱۶]

لَّا تَجْعَلُوا۟ دُعَآءَ ٱلرَّسُولِ بَيْنَكُمْ كَدُعَآءِ بَعْضِكُم بَعْضًۭا ۚ قَدْ يَعْلَمُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِينَ يَتَسَلَّلُونَ مِنكُمْ لِوَاذًۭا ۚ فَلْيَحْذَرِ ٱلَّذِينَ يُخَالِفُونَ عَنْ أَمْرِهِۦٓ أَن تُصِيبَهُمْ فِتْنَةٌ أَوْ يُصِيبَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ

La taj'aloo du'aaa'ar Rasooli bainakum kadu'aaa'i badikum ba'daa; qad ya'lamul laahul lazeena yatasallaloona minkum liwaazaa; fal yahzaril lazeena yukhaalifoona 'an amriheee an tuseebahum fitnatun aw yuseebahum 'azaabun aleem

Make not the calling of the messenger among you as your calling one of another. Allah knoweth those of you who steal away, hiding themselves. And let those who conspire to evade orders beware lest grief or painful punishment befall them.

مت کو لو بلانا رسول کا اپنے اندر برابر اسکے جو بلاتا ہے تم میں ایک دوسرے کو [۱۱۷] اللہ جانتا ہے ان لوگوں کو تم میں سے جو سٹک جاتے ہیں آنکھ بچا کر [۱۱۸] سو ڈرتے رہیں وہ لوگ جو خلاف کرتے ہیں اس کے حکم کا اس سے کہ آپڑے ان پر کچھ خرابی یا پہنچے ان کو عذاب دردناک [۱۱۱۹]

أَلَآ إِنَّ لِلَّهِ مَا فِى ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ ۖ قَدْ يَعْلَمُ مَآ أَنتُمْ عَلَيْهِ وَيَوْمَ يُرْجَعُونَ إِلَيْهِ فَيُنَبِّئُهُم بِمَا عَمِلُوا۟ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ بِكُلِّ شَىْءٍ عَلِيمٌۢ

Alaaa inna lillaahi maa fis samaawaati wal ardi qad ya'lamu maaa antum 'alaihi wa Yawma yurja'oona ilaihi fa yunaabi 'uhum bimaa 'amiloo; wallaahu bikulli shai'in 'Aleem

Lo! verily unto Allah belongeth whatsoever is in the heavens and the earth. He knoweth your condition. And (He knoweth) the Day when they are returned unto Him so that He may inform them of what they did. Allah is Knower of all things.

سنتے ہو اللہ ہی کا ہے جو کچھ ہے آسمانوں اور زمین میں اس کو معلوم ہے جس حال پر تم ہو اور جس دن پھیرےجائیں گے اس کی طرف تو بتائے گا ان کو جو کچھ انہوں نے کیا اور اللہ ہر ایک چیز کو جانتا ہے [۱۲۰]
