سُورَةُ الحَدِيدِ
الحدید
Iron: strength with justice, and grief that does not boast.
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ سَبَّحَ لِلَّهِ مَا فِى ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ ۖ وَهُوَ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلْحَكِيمُ
Sabbaha lillaahi maa fissamaawaati wal ardi wa Huwal 'Azeezul Hakeem
All that is in the heavens and the earth glorifieth Allah; and He is the Mighty, the Wise.
اللہ کی پاکی بولتا ہے جو کچھ ہے آسمانوں میں اور زمین میں [۱] اور وہی ہے زبردست حکمتوں والا
لَهُۥ مُلْكُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ ۖ يُحْىِۦ وَيُمِيتُ ۖ وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍۢ قَدِيرٌ
Lahoo mulkus samaawaati wal ardi yuhyee wa yumeetu wa Huwa 'alaa kulli shai'in Qadeer
His is the Sovereignty of the heavens and the earth; He quickeneth and He giveth death; and He is Able to do all things.
اُسی کے لئے ہے راج آسمانوں کا اور زمین کا جِلاتا ہے اور مارتا ہے اور وہ سب کچھ کر سکتا ہے [۲]
هُوَ ٱلْأَوَّلُ وَٱلْءَاخِرُ وَٱلظَّٰهِرُ وَٱلْبَاطِنُ ۖ وَهُوَ بِكُلِّ شَىْءٍ عَلِيمٌ
Huwal Awwalu wal'Aakhiru waz Zaahiru wal Baatinu wa huwa bikulli shai'in Aleem
He is the First and the Last, and the Outward and the Inward; and He is Knower of all things.
وہی ہے سب سے پہلا اور سب سے پچھلا [۳] اور باہر اور اندر اور وہ سب کچھ جانتا ہے [۴]
هُوَ ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ فِى سِتَّةِ أَيَّامٍۢ ثُمَّ ٱسْتَوَىٰ عَلَى ٱلْعَرْشِ ۚ يَعْلَمُ مَا يَلِجُ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ وَمَا يَخْرُجُ مِنْهَا وَمَا يَنزِلُ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ وَمَا يَعْرُجُ فِيهَا ۖ وَهُوَ مَعَكُمْ أَيْنَ مَا كُنتُمْ ۚ وَٱللَّهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ بَصِيرٌۭ
Huwal lazee khalaqas samaawaati wal arda fee sittati ayyaamin summas tawaa 'alal 'Arsh; ya'lamu maa yaliju filardi wa maa yakhruju minhaa wa maa yanzilu minas samaaa'i wa maa ya'ruju feeha wa Huwa ma'akum ayna maa kuntum; wallaahu bimaa ta'maloona Baseer
He it is Who created the heavens and the earth in six Days; then He mounted the Throne. He knoweth all that entereth the earth and all that emergeth therefrom and all that cometh down from the sky and all that ascendeth therein; and He is with you wheresoever ye may be. And Allah is Seer of what ye do.
وہی ہے جس نے بنائے آسمان اور زمین چھ دن میں پھر قائم ہوا تخت پر [۵] جانتا ہے جو اندر جاتا ہے زمین کے اور جو اُس سے نکلتا ہے [۶] اور جو کچھ اترتا ہے آسمان سے اور جو کچھ اُس میں چڑھتا ہے [۷] اور وہ تمہارے ساتھ ہے جہاں کہیں تم ہو اور اللہ جو تم کرتے ہو اُسکو دیکھتا ہے [۸]
لَّهُۥ مُلْكُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ ۚ وَإِلَى ٱللَّهِ تُرْجَعُ ٱلْأُمُورُ
Lahoo mulkus samaawaati wal ard; wa ilal laahi turja'ul umoor
His is the Sovereignty of the heavens and the earth, and unto Allah (all) things are brought back.
اُسی کے لئے ہے راج آسمانوں کا اور زمین کا اور اللہ ہی تک پہنچتے ہیں سب کام [۹]
يُولِجُ ٱلَّيْلَ فِى ٱلنَّهَارِ وَيُولِجُ ٱلنَّهَارَ فِى ٱلَّيْلِ ۚ وَهُوَ عَلِيمٌۢ بِذَاتِ ٱلصُّدُورِ
Yoolijul laila fin nahaari wa yoolijun nahaara fil lail; wa Huwa 'Aleemum bizaatis sudoor
He causeth the night to pass into the day, and He causeth the day to pass into the night, and He is knower of all that is in the breasts.
داخل کرتا ہے رات کو دن مین اور داخل کرتا ہے دن کو رات میں [۱۰] اور اُسکو خبر ہے جیوں کی بات کی [۱۱]
ءَامِنُوا۟ بِٱللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِۦ وَأَنفِقُوا۟ مِمَّا جَعَلَكُم مُّسْتَخْلَفِينَ فِيهِ ۖ فَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ مِنكُمْ وَأَنفَقُوا۟ لَهُمْ أَجْرٌۭ كَبِيرٌۭ
Aaaminoo billaahi wa Rasoolihee wa anfiqoo mimmaa ja'alakum mustakh lafeena feehi fallazeena aamanoo minkum wa anfaqoo lahum ajrun kabeer
Believe in Allah and His messenger, and spend of that whereof He hath made you trustees; and such of you as believe and spend (aright), theirs will be a great reward.
یقین لاؤ اللہ پر اور اُسکے رسول پر اور خرچ کرو اُس میں سے جو تمہارے ہاتھ میں دیا ہے اپنا نائب کر کر [۱۲] سو جو لوگ تم میں یقین لائے ہیں اور خرچ کرتے ہیں اُنکو بڑا ثواب ہے [۱۳]
وَمَا لَكُمْ لَا تُؤْمِنُونَ بِٱللَّهِ ۙ وَٱلرَّسُولُ يَدْعُوكُمْ لِتُؤْمِنُوا۟ بِرَبِّكُمْ وَقَدْ أَخَذَ مِيثَٰقَكُمْ إِن كُنتُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ
Wa maa lakum laa tu'minoona billaahi war Rasoolu yad'ookum lituu'minoo bi Rabbikum wa qad akhaza meesaaqakum in kuntum mu'mineen
What aileth you that ye believe not in Allah, when the messenger calleth you to believe in your Lord, and He hath already made a covenant with you, if ye are believers?
اور تم کو کیا ہوا کہ یقین نہیں لاتے اللہ پر اور رسول بلاتا ہے تم کو کہ یقین لاؤ اپنے رب پر اور لے چکا ہے تم سے عہد پکا اگر ہو تم ماننے والے [۱۴]
هُوَ ٱلَّذِى يُنَزِّلُ عَلَىٰ عَبْدِهِۦٓ ءَايَٰتٍۭ بَيِّنَٰتٍۢ لِّيُخْرِجَكُم مِّنَ ٱلظُّلُمَٰتِ إِلَى ٱلنُّورِ ۚ وَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ بِكُمْ لَرَءُوفٌۭ رَّحِيمٌۭ
Huwal lazee yunazzilu 'alaa 'abdiheee Aayaatim baiyinaatil liyukhrijakum minaz zulumaati ilan noor; wa innal laaha bikum la Ra'oofur Raheem
He it is Who sendeth down clear revelations unto His slave, that He may bring you forth from darkness unto light; and lo! for you, Allah is Full of Pity, Merciful.
وہی ہے جو اتارتا ہے اپنے بندے پر آیتیں صاف کہ نکال لائے تم کو اندھیروں سے اجالے میں اور اللہ تم پر نرمی کرنے والا ہے مہربان [۱۵]
وَمَا لَكُمْ أَلَّا تُنفِقُوا۟ فِى سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ وَلِلَّهِ مِيرَٰثُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ ۚ لَا يَسْتَوِى مِنكُم مَّنْ أَنفَقَ مِن قَبْلِ ٱلْفَتْحِ وَقَٰتَلَ ۚ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ أَعْظَمُ دَرَجَةًۭ مِّنَ ٱلَّذِينَ أَنفَقُوا۟ مِنۢ بَعْدُ وَقَٰتَلُوا۟ ۚ وَكُلًّۭا وَعَدَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلْحُسْنَىٰ ۚ وَٱللَّهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ خَبِيرٌۭ
Wa maa lakum allaa tunfiqoo fee sabeelil laahi wa lillaahi meeraasus samaawaati wal-ard; laa yastawee minkum man anfaqa min qablil fat-hi wa qaatal; ulaaaika a'zamu darajatam minal lazeena anfaqoo mim ba'du wa qaataloo; wa kullanw wa'adallaahul husnaa; wallaahu bimaa ta'maloona Khabeer
And what aileth you that ye spend not in the way of Allah when unto Allah belongeth the inheritance of the heavens and the earth? Those who spent and fought before the victory are not upon a level (with the rest of you). Such are greater in rank than those who spent and fought afterwards. Unto each hath Allah promised good. And Allah is Informed of what ye do.
اور تم کو کیا ہوا ہے کہ خرچ نہیں کرتے اللہ کی راہ میں اور اللہ ہی کو بچ رہتی ہر شے آسمانوں میں اور زمین میں [۱۶] برابر نہیں تم میں جس نے کہ خرچ کیا فتح مکہ سے پہلے [۱۷] اور لڑائی کی اُن لوگوں کا درجہ بڑا ہے اُن سے جو کہ خرچ کریں اُسکے بعد اور لڑائی کریں اور سب سے وعدہ کیا ہے اللہ نے خوبی کا [۱۸] اور اللہ کو خبر ہے جو کچھ تم کرتے ہو [۱۹]
مَّن ذَا ٱلَّذِى يُقْرِضُ ٱللَّهَ قَرْضًا حَسَنًۭا فَيُضَٰعِفَهُۥ لَهُۥ وَلَهُۥٓ أَجْرٌۭ كَرِيمٌۭ
man zal lazee yuqridul laaha qardan hasanan fa yudaa'ifahoo lahoo wa lahooo ajrun kareem
Who is he that will lend unto Allah a goodly loan, that He may double it for him and his may be a rich reward?
کون ہے ایسا کہ قرض دے اللہ کو اچھی طرح پھر وہ اُسکو دونا کر دے اُسکے واسطے اور اُسکو ملے ثواب عزت کا [۲۰]
يَوْمَ تَرَى ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَٱلْمُؤْمِنَٰتِ يَسْعَىٰ نُورُهُم بَيْنَ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَبِأَيْمَٰنِهِم بُشْرَىٰكُمُ ٱلْيَوْمَ جَنَّٰتٌۭ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهَا ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَا ۚ ذَٰلِكَ هُوَ ٱلْفَوْزُ ٱلْعَظِيمُ
Yawma taral mu'mineena walmu'minaati yas'aa nooruhum baina aydeehim wa biaymaanihim bushraakumul yawma jannaatun tajree min tahtihal anhaaru khaalideena feeha; zaalika huwal fawzul 'azeem
On the day when thou (Muhammad) wilt see the believers, men and women, their light shining forth before them and on their right hands, (and wilt hear it said unto them): Glad news for you this day: Gardens underneath which rivers flow, wherein ye are immortal. That is the supreme triumph.
جس دن تو دیکھے ایمان والے مردوں کو اور ایمان والی عورتوں کو دوڑتی ہوئی چلتی ہے اُنکی روشنی اُنکے آگے اور ان کے داہنے [۲۱] خوشخبری ہے تم کو آج کے دن باغ ہیں کہ نیچے بہتی ہیں جنکے نہریں سدا رہو اُن میں یہ جو ہے یہی ہے بڑی مراد ملنی [۲۲]
يَوْمَ يَقُولُ ٱلْمُنَٰفِقُونَ وَٱلْمُنَٰفِقَٰتُ لِلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ ٱنظُرُونَا نَقْتَبِسْ مِن نُّورِكُمْ قِيلَ ٱرْجِعُوا۟ وَرَآءَكُمْ فَٱلْتَمِسُوا۟ نُورًۭا فَضُرِبَ بَيْنَهُم بِسُورٍۢ لَّهُۥ بَابٌۢ بَاطِنُهُۥ فِيهِ ٱلرَّحْمَةُ وَظَٰهِرُهُۥ مِن قِبَلِهِ ٱلْعَذَابُ
Yawma yaqoolul munaa fiqoona walmunaafiqaatu lillazeena aamanun zuroonaa naqtabis min noorikum qeelarji'oo waraaa'akum faltamisoo nooran faduriba bainahum bisooril lahoo baab, baatinuhoo feehir rahmatu wa zaahiruhoo min qibalihi-'azaab
On the day when the hypocritical men and the hypocritical women will say unto those who believe: Look on us that we may borrow from your light! it will be said: Go back and seek for light! Then there will separate them a wall wherein is a gate, the inner side whereof containeth mercy, while the outer side thereof is toward the doom.
جس دن کہیں گے دغاباز مرد اور عورتیں ایمان والوں کو راہ دیکھو ہماری ہم بھی روشنی لے لیں تمہارے نور سے کہ کوئی کہے گا لوٹ جاؤ پیچھے پھر ڈھونڈ لو روشنی پھر کھڑی کر دی جائے اُنکے بیچ میں ایک دیوار جس میں ہوگا دروازہ اُس کے اندر رحمت ہو گی اور باہر کی طرف عذاب [۲۳]
يُنَادُونَهُمْ أَلَمْ نَكُن مَّعَكُمْ ۖ قَالُوا۟ بَلَىٰ وَلَٰكِنَّكُمْ فَتَنتُمْ أَنفُسَكُمْ وَتَرَبَّصْتُمْ وَٱرْتَبْتُمْ وَغَرَّتْكُمُ ٱلْأَمَانِىُّ حَتَّىٰ جَآءَ أَمْرُ ٱللَّهِ وَغَرَّكُم بِٱللَّهِ ٱلْغَرُورُ
Yunaadoonahum alam nakum ma'akum qaaloo balaa wa laakinnakum fatantum anfusakum wa tarabbastum wartabtum wa gharratkumul amaaniyyu hatta jaaa'a amrul laahi wa gharrakum billaahil gharoor
They will cry unto them (saying): Were we not with you? They will say: Yea, verily; but ye tempted one another, and hesitated, and doubted, and vain desires beguiled you till the ordinance of Allah came to pass; and the deceiver deceived you concerning Allah;
یہ اُن کو پکاریں گے کیا ہم نہ تھے تمہارے ساتھ [۲۴] کہیں گے کیوں نہیں لیکن تم نے بچلا دیا اپنے آپ کو اور راہ دیکھتے رہے اور دھوکے میں پڑے اور بہک گئے اپنے خیالوں پر یہاں تک کہ آ پہنچا حکم اللہ کا اور تم کو بہکا دیا اللہ کے نام سے اُس دغاباز نے [۲۵]
فَٱلْيَوْمَ لَا يُؤْخَذُ مِنكُمْ فِدْيَةٌۭ وَلَا مِنَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ ۚ مَأْوَىٰكُمُ ٱلنَّارُ ۖ هِىَ مَوْلَىٰكُمْ ۖ وَبِئْسَ ٱلْمَصِيرُ
Fal Yawma laa yu'khazu minkum fidyatunw wa laa minal lazeena kafaroo; maawaakumun Naaru hiya maw laakum wa bi'sal maseer
So this day no ransom can be taken from you nor from those who disbelieved. Your home is the Fire; that is your patron, and a hapless journey's end.
سو آج تم سے قبول نہ ہو گا فدیہ دینا اور نہ منکروں سے تم سب کا گھر دوزخ ہے وہی ہے رفیق تمہاری اور بری جگہ جا پہنچے [۲۶]
۞ أَلَمْ يَأْنِ لِلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓا۟ أَن تَخْشَعَ قُلُوبُهُمْ لِذِكْرِ ٱللَّهِ وَمَا نَزَلَ مِنَ ٱلْحَقِّ وَلَا يَكُونُوا۟ كَٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُوا۟ ٱلْكِتَٰبَ مِن قَبْلُ فَطَالَ عَلَيْهِمُ ٱلْأَمَدُ فَقَسَتْ قُلُوبُهُمْ ۖ وَكَثِيرٌۭ مِّنْهُمْ فَٰسِقُونَ
Alam yaani laillzeena aamanooo an takhsha'a quloo buhum lizikril laahi wa maa nazala minal haqqi wa laa yakoonoo kallazeena ootul Kitaaba min qablu fataala 'alaihimul amadu faqasat quloobuhum wa kaseerum minhum faasiqoon
Is not the time ripe for the hearts of those who believe to submit to Allah's reminder and to the truth which is revealed, that they become not as those who received the scripture of old but the term was prolonged for them and so their hearts were hardened, and many of them are evil-livers.
کیا وقت نہیں آیا ایمان والوں کو کہ گڑگڑائیں اُنکے دل اللہ کی یاد سے اور جو اترا ہے سچا دین [۲۷] اور نہ ہوں اُن جیسے جنکو کتاب ملی تھی اس سے پہلے پھر دراز گذری ان پر مدت پھر سخت ہو گئے اُنکے دل اور بہت اُن میں نافرمان ہیں [۲۸]
ٱعْلَمُوٓا۟ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ يُحْىِ ٱلْأَرْضَ بَعْدَ مَوْتِهَا ۚ قَدْ بَيَّنَّا لَكُمُ ٱلْءَايَٰتِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَعْقِلُونَ
I'lamooo annal laaha yuhyil arda ba'da mawtihaa; qad baiyannaa lakumul Aayaati la'allakum ta'qiloon
Know that Allah quickeneth the earth after its death. We have made clear Our revelations for you, that haply ye may understand.
جان رکھو کہ اللہ زندہ کرتا ہے زمین کو اُسکے مرجانے کے بعد ہم نے کھول کر سنا دیے تم کو پتے اگر تم کو سمجھ ہے [۲۹]
إِنَّ ٱلْمُصَّدِّقِينَ وَٱلْمُصَّدِّقَٰتِ وَأَقْرَضُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ قَرْضًا حَسَنًۭا يُضَٰعَفُ لَهُمْ وَلَهُمْ أَجْرٌۭ كَرِيمٌۭ
Innal mussaddiqeena wal mussaddiqaati wa aqradul laaha qardan hassanany yudaa'afu lahum wa lahum ajrun kareem
Lo! those who give alms, both men and women, and lend unto Allah a goodly loan, it will be doubled for them, and theirs will be a rich reward.
تحقیق جو لوگ خیرات کرنے والے ہیں مرد اور عورتیں اور قرض دیتے ہیں اللہ کو اچھی طرح اُنکو ملتا ہے دونا اور اُنکو ثواب ہے عزت کا [۳۰]
وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ بِٱللَّهِ وَرُسُلِهِۦٓ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلصِّدِّيقُونَ ۖ وَٱلشُّهَدَآءُ عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ لَهُمْ أَجْرُهُمْ وَنُورُهُمْ ۖ وَٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ وَكَذَّبُوا۟ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَآ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ أَصْحَٰبُ ٱلْجَحِيمِ
Wallazeena aamanoo billaahi wa Rusuliheee ulaaa'ika humus siddeeqoona wash shuhadaaa'u 'inda Rabbihim lahum ajruhum wa nooruhum wallazeena kafaroo wa kazzaboo bi aayaatinaaa ulaaaika As haabul jaheem
And those who believe in Allah and His messengers, they are the loyal, and the martyrs are with their Lord; they have their reward and their light; while as for those who disbelieve and deny Our revelations, they are owners of hell-fire.
اور جو لوگ یقین لائے اللہ پر اور اُسکے سب رسولوں پر وہی ہیں سچے ایمان والے اور لوگوں کا احوال بتلانے والے اپنے رب کے پاس اُنکے واسطے ہے اُں کا ثواب اور اُنکی روشنی [۳۱] اور جو لوگ منکر ہوئے اور جھٹلایا ہماری باتوں کو وہ ہیں دوزخ کے لوگ [۳۲]
ٱعْلَمُوٓا۟ أَنَّمَا ٱلْحَيَوٰةُ ٱلدُّنْيَا لَعِبٌۭ وَلَهْوٌۭ وَزِينَةٌۭ وَتَفَاخُرٌۢ بَيْنَكُمْ وَتَكَاثُرٌۭ فِى ٱلْأَمْوَٰلِ وَٱلْأَوْلَٰدِ ۖ كَمَثَلِ غَيْثٍ أَعْجَبَ ٱلْكُفَّارَ نَبَاتُهُۥ ثُمَّ يَهِيجُ فَتَرَىٰهُ مُصْفَرًّۭا ثُمَّ يَكُونُ حُطَٰمًۭا ۖ وَفِى ٱلْءَاخِرَةِ عَذَابٌۭ شَدِيدٌۭ وَمَغْفِرَةٌۭ مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ وَرِضْوَٰنٌۭ ۚ وَمَا ٱلْحَيَوٰةُ ٱلدُّنْيَآ إِلَّا مَتَٰعُ ٱلْغُرُورِ
I'lamooo annamal hayaa tud dunyaa la'ibunw wa lahwunw wa zeenatunw wa takaasurun bainakum wa takaasurn fil amwaali wal awlaad, kamasali ghaisin a'jabal kuffaara nabaatuhoo summa yaheeju fataraahu musfaaran summa yakoonu hutaamaa; wa fil aakhirati 'azaabun shadeedunw wa magh firatum minal laahi wa ridwaan; wa mal haiyaa tuddun yaaa illaa mataa'ul ghuroor
Know that the life of the world is only play, and idle talk, and pageantry, and boasting among you, and rivalry in respect of wealth and children; as the likeness of vegetation after rain, whereof the growth is pleasing to the husbandman, but afterward it drieth up and thou seest it turning yellow, then it becometh straw. And in the Hereafter there is grievous punishment, and (also) forgiveness from Allah and His good pleasure, whereas the life of the world is but matter of illusion.
جان رکھو کہ دنیا کی زندگانی یہی ہے کھیل اور تماشا اور بناؤ اور بڑائیاں کرنی آپس میں اور بہتایت ڈھونڈنی مال کی اور اولاد کی جیسے حالت ایک مینہ کی جو خوش لگا کسانوں کو اُس کا سبزہ پھر زور پر آتا ہے پھر تو دیکھے زرد ہو گیا پھر ہو جاتا ہے روندا ہوا گھاس اور آخرت میں سخب عذاب ہے اور معافی بھی ہے اللہ سے اور رضامندی اور دنیا کی زندگانی تو یہی ہے مال دغا کا [۳۳]
سَابِقُوٓا۟ إِلَىٰ مَغْفِرَةٍۢ مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ وَجَنَّةٍ عَرْضُهَا كَعَرْضِ ٱلسَّمَآءِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ أُعِدَّتْ لِلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ بِٱللَّهِ وَرُسُلِهِۦ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ فَضْلُ ٱللَّهِ يُؤْتِيهِ مَن يَشَآءُ ۚ وَٱللَّهُ ذُو ٱلْفَضْلِ ٱلْعَظِيمِ
Saabiqooo ilaa maghfiratim mir Rabbikum wa jannatin 'arduhaa ka-'ardis samaaa'i wal ardi u'iddat lillazeena aamanoo billaahi wa Rusulih; zaalika fadlul laahi yu'teehi many yashaaa'; wal laahu zul fadlil 'azeem
Race one with another for forgiveness from your Lord and a Garden whereof the breadth is as the breadth of the heavens and the earth, which is in store for those who believe in Allah and His messengers. Such is the bounty of Allah, which He bestoweth upon whom He will, and Allah is of Infinite Bounty.
دوڑو اپنے رب کی معافی کی طرف کو اور بہشت کو [۳۴] جس کا پھیلاؤ ہے جیسے پھیلاؤ آسمان اور زمین کا [۳۵] تیار رکھی ہے واسطے اُنکے جو یقین لائے اللہ پر اور اسکے رسولوں پر یہ فضل اللہ کا ہے دے اُسکو جسکو چاہے اور اللہ کا فضل بڑا ہے [۳۶]
مَآ أَصَابَ مِن مُّصِيبَةٍۢ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ وَلَا فِىٓ أَنفُسِكُمْ إِلَّا فِى كِتَٰبٍۢ مِّن قَبْلِ أَن نَّبْرَأَهَآ ۚ إِنَّ ذَٰلِكَ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ يَسِيرٌۭ
Maaa asaaba mim musee batin fil ardi wa laa feee anfusikum illaa fee kitaabim min qabli an nabra ahaa; innaa zaalika 'alal laahi yaseer
Naught of disaster befalleth in the earth or in yourselves but it is in a Book before we bring it into being - Lo! that is easy for Allah -
کوئی آفت نہیں پڑتی ملک میں اور نہ تمہاری جانوں میں جو لکھی نہ ہو ایک کتاب میں پہلے اس سےکہ پیدا کریں ہم اُسکو دنیا میں [۳۷] بیشک یہ اللہ پر آسان ہے [۳۸]
لِّكَيْلَا تَأْسَوْا۟ عَلَىٰ مَا فَاتَكُمْ وَلَا تَفْرَحُوا۟ بِمَآ ءَاتَىٰكُمْ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ لَا يُحِبُّ كُلَّ مُخْتَالٍۢ فَخُورٍ
Likailaa taasaw 'alaa maa faatakum wa laa tafrahoo bimaaa aataakum; wallaahu laa yuhibbu kulla mukhtaalin fakhoor
That ye grieve not for the sake of that which hath escaped you, nor yet exult because of that which hath been given. Allah loveth not all prideful boasters,
تاکہ تم غم نہ کھایا کرو اُس پر جو ہاتھ نہ آیا اور نہ شیخی کیا کرو اُس پر جو تم کو اُس نے دیا [۳۹] اور اللہ کو خوش نہیں آتا کوئی اترانے والا بڑائی مارنے والا
ٱلَّذِينَ يَبْخَلُونَ وَيَأْمُرُونَ ٱلنَّاسَ بِٱلْبُخْلِ ۗ وَمَن يَتَوَلَّ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ هُوَ ٱلْغَنِىُّ ٱلْحَمِيدُ
Allazeeena yabkhaloona wa yaamuroonan naasa bil bukhl; wa many yatawalla fa innal laaha Huwal Ghaniyyul Hameed
Who hoard and who enjoin upon the people avarice. And whosoever turneth away, still Allah is the Absolute, the Owner of Praise.
وہ جو کہ آپ نہ دیں اور سکھلائیں لوگوں کو بھی نہ دینا [۴۰] اور جو کوئی منہ موڑے تو اللہ آپ ہے بے پروا سب خوبیوں کے ساتھ موصوف [۴۱]
لَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا رُسُلَنَا بِٱلْبَيِّنَٰتِ وَأَنزَلْنَا مَعَهُمُ ٱلْكِتَٰبَ وَٱلْمِيزَانَ لِيَقُومَ ٱلنَّاسُ بِٱلْقِسْطِ ۖ وَأَنزَلْنَا ٱلْحَدِيدَ فِيهِ بَأْسٌۭ شَدِيدٌۭ وَمَنَٰفِعُ لِلنَّاسِ وَلِيَعْلَمَ ٱللَّهُ مَن يَنصُرُهُۥ وَرُسُلَهُۥ بِٱلْغَيْبِ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ قَوِىٌّ عَزِيزٌۭ
Laqad arsalnaa Rusulanaa bilbaiyinaati wa anzalnaa ma'ahumul Kitaaba wal Meezaana liyaqooman naasu bilqist, wa anzalnal hadeeda feehi baasun shadeedunw wa manaafi'u linnaasi wa liya'lamal laahu many yansuruhoo wa Rusulahoo bilghaib; innal laaha Qawiyyn 'Azeez
We verily sent Our messengers with clear proofs, and revealed with them the Scripture and the Balance, that mankind may observe right measure; and He revealed iron, wherein is mighty power and (many) uses for mankind, and that Allah may know him who helpeth Him and His messengers, though unseen. Lo! Allah is Strong, Almighty.
ہم نے بھیجے ہیں اپنے رسول نشانیاں دیکر اور اتاری اُنکے ساتھ کتاب اور ترازو تاکہ لوگ سیدھے رہیں انصاف پر [۴۲] اور ہم نے اتارا لو ہا [۴۳] اُس میں سخت لڑائی ہے اور لوگوں کے کام چلتے ہیں [۴۴] اور تاکہ معلوم کرے اللہ کون مدد کرتا ہے اُسکے رسولوں کی بن دیکھے [۴۵] بیشک اللہ زوآور ہے زبردست [۴۶]
وَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا نُوحًۭا وَإِبْرَٰهِيمَ وَجَعَلْنَا فِى ذُرِّيَّتِهِمَا ٱلنُّبُوَّةَ وَٱلْكِتَٰبَ ۖ فَمِنْهُم مُّهْتَدٍۢ ۖ وَكَثِيرٌۭ مِّنْهُمْ فَٰسِقُونَ
Wa laqad arsalnaa Noohanw wa Ibraaheema wa ja'alnaa fee zurriyyatihiman nubuwwata wal Kitaaba faminhum muhtad; wa kaseerum minhum faasiqoon
And We verily sent Noah and Abraham and placed the prophethood and the scripture among their seed, and among them there is he who goeth right, but many of them are evil-livers.
اور ہم نے بھیجا نوح کو اور ابراہیم کو اور ٹھہرا دی دونوں کی اولاد میں پیغمبری اور کتاب [۴۷] پھر کوئی اُن میں راہ پر ہے اور بہت اُن میں نافرمان ہیں [۴۸]
ثُمَّ قَفَّيْنَا عَلَىٰٓ ءَاثَٰرِهِم بِرُسُلِنَا وَقَفَّيْنَا بِعِيسَى ٱبْنِ مَرْيَمَ وَءَاتَيْنَٰهُ ٱلْإِنجِيلَ وَجَعَلْنَا فِى قُلُوبِ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱتَّبَعُوهُ رَأْفَةًۭ وَرَحْمَةًۭ وَرَهْبَانِيَّةً ٱبْتَدَعُوهَا مَا كَتَبْنَٰهَا عَلَيْهِمْ إِلَّا ٱبْتِغَآءَ رِضْوَٰنِ ٱللَّهِ فَمَا رَعَوْهَا حَقَّ رِعَايَتِهَا ۖ فَـَٔاتَيْنَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ مِنْهُمْ أَجْرَهُمْ ۖ وَكَثِيرٌۭ مِّنْهُمْ فَٰسِقُونَ
Summa qaffainaa 'alaa aasaarihim bi Rusulinaa wa qaffainaa be 'Eesab ni Maryama wa aatainaahul Injeela wa ja'alnaa fee quloobil lazeenat taba' oohu raafatanw wa rahmatanw wa rahbaaniyyatanib tada' oohaa maa katanaahaa 'alaihim illab tighaaa'a ridwaanil laahi famaa ra'awhaa haqqa ri'aayatihaa fa aatainal lazeena aamanoo minhum ajrahum wa kaseerum minhum faasiqoon
Then We caused Our messengers to follow in their footsteps; and We caused Jesus, son of Mary, to follow, and gave him the Gospel, and placed compassion and mercy in the hearts of those who followed him. But monasticism they invented - We ordained it not for them - only seeking Allah's pleasure, and they observed it not with right observance. So We give those of them who believe their reward, but many of them are evil-livers.
پھر پیچھے بھیجے اُنکے قدموں پر اپنے رسول [۴۹] اور پیچھے بھیجا ہم نے عیسٰی مریم کے بیٹے کو اور اُسکو ہم نے دی انجیل [۵۰] اور رکھ دی اُس کے ساتھ چلنے والوں کے دل میں نرمی اور مہربانی [۵۱] اور ایک ترک کرنا دنیا کا جو انہوں نے نئی بات نکالی تھی ہم نے نہیں لکھا تھا یہ اُن پر مگر کیاچاہنے کو اللہ کی رضامندی پھر نہ نباہا اُسکو جیسا چاہئے تھا نباہنا [۵۲] پھر دیا ہم نے اُن لوگوں کو جو اُن میں ایماندار تھے اُنکا بدلا اور بہت اُن میں نافرمان ہں [۵۳]
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ ٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَءَامِنُوا۟ بِرَسُولِهِۦ يُؤْتِكُمْ كِفْلَيْنِ مِن رَّحْمَتِهِۦ وَيَجْعَل لَّكُمْ نُورًۭا تَمْشُونَ بِهِۦ وَيَغْفِرْ لَكُمْ ۚ وَٱللَّهُ غَفُورٌۭ رَّحِيمٌۭ
Yaaa ayyuhal lazeena aamaanut taqullaaha wa aaminoo bi Rasoolihee yu'tikum kiflaini mir rahmatihee wa yaj'al lakum nooran tamshoona bihee wa yaghfir lakum; wallaahu Ghafoorur Raheem
O ye who believe! Be mindful of your duty to Allah and put faith in His messenger. He will give you twofold of His mercy and will appoint for you a light wherein ye shall walk, and will forgive you. Allah is Forgiving, Merciful;
اے یمان والو ڈرتے رہو اللہ سے اور یقین لاؤ اُسکے رسول پر دے گا تم کو دو حصے اپنی رحمت سے اور رکھ دے گا تم میں روشنی جس کو لئے پھرو اور تم کو معاف کرے گا اور اللہ معاف کرنے والا ہے مہربان [۵۴]
لِّئَلَّا يَعْلَمَ أَهْلُ ٱلْكِتَٰبِ أَلَّا يَقْدِرُونَ عَلَىٰ شَىْءٍۢ مِّن فَضْلِ ٱللَّهِ ۙ وَأَنَّ ٱلْفَضْلَ بِيَدِ ٱللَّهِ يُؤْتِيهِ مَن يَشَآءُ ۚ وَٱللَّهُ ذُو ٱلْفَضْلِ ٱلْعَظِيمِ
Li'alla ya'lama Ahlul kitaabi allaa yaqdiroona 'alaa shai'im min fadlil laahi wa annal fadla bi Yadil laahi u'teehi many yashaaa'; wallaahu Zul fadilil 'azeem
That the People of the Scripture may know that they control naught of the bounty of Allah, but that the bounty is in Allah's hand to give to whom He will. And Allah is of Infinite Bounty.
تا کہ نہ جانیں کتاب والے کہ پا نہیں سکتے کوئی چیز اللہ کے فضل میں سے اور یہ کہ بزرگی اللہ کے ہاتھ ہے دیتا ہے جسکو چاہے اور اللہ کا فضل بڑا ہے [۵۵]
