بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ وَٱلْمُرْسَلَٰتِ عُرْفًۭا
Wal mursalaati'urfaa
By the emissary winds, (sent) one after another
قسم ہے چلتی ہواؤں کی دل کو خوش آتی
سُورَةُ المُرۡسَلَاتِ
Al-Mursalaat
المرسلات
The sent forth: a day when no one will speak for another.
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
فَٱلْعَٰصِفَٰتِ عَصْفًۭا
Fal'aasifaati 'asfaa
By the raging hurricanes,
پھر جھونکا دینے والیوں کی زور سے [۱]
وَٱلنَّٰشِرَٰتِ نَشْرًۭا
Wannaashiraati nashraa
By those which cause earth's vegetation to revive;
پھر ابھارنے والیوں کی اٹھا کر
فَٱلْفَٰرِقَٰتِ فَرْقًۭا
Falfaariqaati farqaa
By those who winnow with a winnowing,
پھر پھاڑنے والیوں کی بانٹ کر [۲]
فَٱلْمُلْقِيَٰتِ ذِكْرًا
Falmulqiyaati zikra
By those who bring down the Reminder,
پھر فرشتوں کی جو اتار کر لائیں وحی [۳]
عُذْرًا أَوْ نُذْرًا
'Uzran aw nuzraa
To excuse or to warn,
الزام اتارنے کو یا ڈر سنانے کو [۴]
إِنَّمَا تُوعَدُونَ لَوَٰقِعٌۭ
Innamaa too'adoona lawaaqi'
Surely that which ye are promised will befall.
مقرر جو تم سے وعدہ ہوا وہ ضرور ہونا ہے [۵]
فَإِذَا ٱلنُّجُومُ طُمِسَتْ
Fa izam nujoomu tumisat
So when the stars are put out,
پھر جب تارے مٹائے جائیں
وَإِذَا ٱلسَّمَآءُ فُرِجَتْ
Wa izas samaaa'u furijat
And when the sky is riven asunder,
اور جب آسمان میں جھروکے پڑ جائیں [۶]
وَإِذَا ٱلْجِبَالُ نُسِفَتْ
Wa izal jibaalu nusifat
And when the mountains are blown away,
اور جب پہاڑ اڑا دیے جائیں [۷]
وَإِذَا ٱلرُّسُلُ أُقِّتَتْ
Wa izar Rusulu uqqitat
And when the messengers are brought unto their time appointed -
اور جب رسولوں کا وقت مقرر ہو جائے [۸]
لِأَىِّ يَوْمٍ أُجِّلَتْ
Li ayyi yawmin ujjilat
For what day is the time appointed?
کس دن کے واسطے ان چیزوں میں دیر ہے
لِيَوْمِ ٱلْفَصْلِ
Li yawmil Fasl
For the Day of Decision.
اس فیصلے کے دن کے واسطے [۹]
وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا يَوْمُ ٱلْفَصْلِ
Wa maaa adraaka maa yawmul fasl
And what will convey unto thee what the Day of Decision is! -
اور تو نے کیا بوجھا کیا ہے فیصلے کا دن
وَيْلٌۭ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
Wailuny yawma 'izillilmukazzibeen
Woe unto the repudiators on that day!
خرابی ہے اس دن جھٹلانے والوں کی [۱۰]
أَلَمْ نُهْلِكِ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ
Alam nuhlikil awwaleen
Destroyed We not the former folk,
کیا ہم نے نہیں مار کھپایا پہلوں کو
ثُمَّ نُتْبِعُهُمُ ٱلْءَاخِرِينَ
Summa nutbi'uhumul aakhireen
Then caused the latter folk to follow after?
پھر اُنکے پیچھے بھیجتے ہیں پچھلوں کو
كَذَٰلِكَ نَفْعَلُ بِٱلْمُجْرِمِينَ
Kazzlika naf'alu bilmujrimeen
Thus deal We ever with the guilty.
ہم ایسا ہی کیا کرتے ہیں گنہگاروں کے ساتھ [۱۱]
وَيْلٌۭ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
Wailunw yawma 'izil lil mukazzibeen
Woe unto the repudiators on that day!
خرابی ہے اُس دن جھٹلانے والوں کی [۱۲]
أَلَمْ نَخْلُقكُّم مِّن مَّآءٍۢ مَّهِينٍۢ
Alam nakhlukkum mimmaaa'im maheen
Did We not create you from a base fluid
کیا ہم نے نہیں بنایا تمکو ایک بے قدر پانی سے
فَجَعَلْنَٰهُ فِى قَرَارٍۢ مَّكِينٍ
Faja'alnaahu fee qaraarim makeen
Which We laid up in a safe abode
پھر رکھا اُسکو ایک جمے ہوئے ٹھکانے میں [۱۳]
إِلَىٰ قَدَرٍۢ مَّعْلُومٍۢ
Illaa qadrim ma'loom
For a known term?
ایک وعدہ مقرر تک [۱۴]
فَقَدَرْنَا فَنِعْمَ ٱلْقَٰدِرُونَ
Faqadarnaa fani'mal qaadiroon
Thus We arranged. How excellent is Our arranging!
پھر ہم اُسکو پورا کر سکے سو ہم کیا خوب سکت والے ہیں [۱۵]
وَيْلٌۭ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
Wailuny yawma 'izil lilmukazzibeen
Woe unto the repudiators on that day!
خرابی ہے اس دن جھٹلانے والوں کی [۱۶]
أَلَمْ نَجْعَلِ ٱلْأَرْضَ كِفَاتًا
Alam naj'alil arda kifaataa
Have We not made the earth a receptacle
کیا ہم نے نہیں بنائی زمین سمیٹنے والی
أَحْيَآءًۭ وَأَمْوَٰتًۭا
Ahyaaa'anw wa amwaataa
Both for the living and the dead,
زندوں کو اور مردوں کو [۱۷]
وَجَعَلْنَا فِيهَا رَوَٰسِىَ شَٰمِخَٰتٍۢ وَأَسْقَيْنَٰكُم مَّآءًۭ فُرَاتًۭا
Wa ja'alnaa feehaa rawaasiya shaamikhaatinw wa asqainaakum maaa'an furaataa
And placed therein high mountains and given you to drink sweet water therein?
اور رکھے ہم نے زمین میں بوجھ کے لئے پہاڑ اونچے اور پلایا ہم نے تمکو پانی میٹھا پیاس بھجانے والا [۱۸]
وَيْلٌۭ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
Wailuny yawma 'izil lilmukazzibeen
Woe unto the repudiators on that day!
خرابی ہے اُس دن جھٹلانے والوں کی [۱۹]
ٱنطَلِقُوٓا۟ إِلَىٰ مَا كُنتُم بِهِۦ تُكَذِّبُونَ
Intaliqooo ilaa maa kuntum bihee tukazziboon
(It will be said unto them:) Depart unto that (doom) which ye used to deny;
چل کر دیکھو جس چیز کو تم جھٹلاتے تھے [۲۰]
ٱنطَلِقُوٓا۟ إِلَىٰ ظِلٍّۢ ذِى ثَلَٰثِ شُعَبٍۢ
Intaliqooo ilaa zillin zee salaasi shu'ab
Depart unto the shadow falling threefold,
چلو ایک چھاؤں میں جسکی تین پھانکیں ہیں [۲۱]
لَّا ظَلِيلٍۢ وَلَا يُغْنِى مِنَ ٱللَّهَبِ
Laa zaleelinw wa laa yughnee minal lahab
(Which yet is) no relief nor shelter from the flame.
نہ گہری چھاؤں اور نہ کچھ کام آئے تپش میں [۲۲]
إِنَّهَا تَرْمِى بِشَرَرٍۢ كَٱلْقَصْرِ
Innahaa tarmee bishararin kalqasr
Lo! it throweth up sparks like the castles,
وہ آگ پھینکتی ہے چنگاریاں جیسے محل [۲۳]
كَأَنَّهُۥ جِمَٰلَتٌۭ صُفْرٌۭ
Ka annahoo jimaalatun sufr
(Or) as it might be camels of bright yellow hue.
گویا وہ اونٹ ہیں زرد [۲۴]
وَيْلٌۭ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
Wailuny yawma 'izil lilmukazibeen
Woe unto the repudiators on that day!
خرابی ہے اس دن جھٹلانے والوں کی [۲۵]
هَٰذَا يَوْمُ لَا يَنطِقُونَ
Haazaa yawmu laa uantiqoon
This is a day wherein they speak not,
یہ وہ دن ہے کہ نہ بولیں گے [۲۶]
وَلَا يُؤْذَنُ لَهُمْ فَيَعْتَذِرُونَ
Wa laa yu'zanu lahum fa ya'taziroon
Nor are they suffered to put forth excuses.
اور نہ اُنکو حکم ہو کہ توبہ کریں [۲۷]
وَيْلٌۭ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
Wailunw yawma 'izil lilmukazzibeen
Woe unto the repudiators on that day!
خرابی ہے اُس دن جھٹلانے والوں کی [۲۸]
هَٰذَا يَوْمُ ٱلْفَصْلِ ۖ جَمَعْنَٰكُمْ وَٱلْأَوَّلِينَ
Haaza yawmul fasli jama 'naakum wal awwaleen
This is the Day of Decision, We have brought you and the men of old together.
یہ ہے دن فیصلے کا جمع کیا ہم نے تمکو اور اگلوں کو [۲۹]
فَإِن كَانَ لَكُمْ كَيْدٌۭ فَكِيدُونِ
Fa in kaana lakum kaidun fakeedoon
If now ye have any wit, outwit Me.
پھر اگر کچھ داؤ ہے تمہارا تو چلا لو مجھ پر [۳۰]
وَيْلٌۭ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
Wailuny yawma'izil lilmukazzibeen
Woe unto the repudiators on that day!
خرابی ہے اس دن جھٹلانے والوں کی [۳۱]
إِنَّ ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ فِى ظِلَٰلٍۢ وَعُيُونٍۢ
Innal muttaqeena fee zilaalinw wa 'uyoon
Lo! those who kept their duty are amid shade and fountains,
البتہ جو ڈرنے والے ہیں وہ سایہ میں ہیں [۳۲] اور نہروں میں
وَفَوَٰكِهَ مِمَّا يَشْتَهُونَ
Wa fawaakiha mimmaa yastahoon
And fruits such as they desire.
اور میوے جس قسم کے وہ چاہیں
كُلُوا۟ وَٱشْرَبُوا۟ هَنِيٓـًٔۢا بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ
Kuloo washraboo haneee 'am bimaa kuntum ta'maloon
(Unto them it is said:) Eat, drink and welcome, O ye blessed, in return for what ye did.
کھاؤ اور پیو مزے سے بدلا اُن کاموں کا جو تم نے کئے تھے [۳۳]
إِنَّا كَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِى ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ
Innaa kazaalika najzil muhsineen
Thus do We reward the good.
ہم یونہی دیتے ہیں بدلا نیکی والوں کو
وَيْلٌۭ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
Wailuny yawma 'izil lilmuzkazzibeen
Woe unto the repudiators on that day!
خرابی ہے اُس دن جھٹلانے والوں کی [۳۴]
كُلُوا۟ وَتَمَتَّعُوا۟ قَلِيلًا إِنَّكُم مُّجْرِمُونَ
Kuloo wa tamatta'oo qaleelan innakum mujrimoon
Eat and take your ease (on earth) a little. Lo! ye are guilty.
کھا لو اور برت لو تھوڑے دنوں بیشک تم گنہگار ہو [۳۵]
وَيْلٌۭ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
Wailunny yawma 'izil lilmukazzibeen
Woe unto the repudiators on that day!
خرابی ہے اُس دن جھٹلانے والوں کی [۳۶]
وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمُ ٱرْكَعُوا۟ لَا يَرْكَعُونَ
Wa izaa qeela lahumur ka'oo aa yarka'oon
When it is said unto them: Bow down, they bow not down!
اور جب کہیے اُن کو کہ جھک جاؤ نہیں جھکتے [۳۷]
وَيْلٌۭ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
Wailunny yawma 'izil lilmukazzibeen
Woe unto the repudiators on that day!
خرابی ہے اُس دن جھٹلانے والوں کی [۳۸]
فَبِأَىِّ حَدِيثٍۭ بَعْدَهُۥ يُؤْمِنُونَ
Fabi ayyi hadeesim ba'dahoo yu'minoon
In what statement, after this, will they believe?
اب کس بات پر اُسکے بعد یقین لائیں گے [۳۹]
