Al-Anfaal

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ يَسْـَٔلُونَكَ عَنِ ٱلْأَنفَالِ ۖ قُلِ ٱلْأَنفَالُ لِلَّهِ وَٱلرَّسُولِ ۖ فَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَأَصْلِحُوا۟ ذَاتَ بَيْنِكُمْ ۖ وَأَطِيعُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُۥٓ إِن كُنتُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ

Yas'aloonaka 'anil anfaali qulil anfaalu lillaahi war Rasooli fattaqul laaha wa ahlihoo zaata bainikum wa atee'ul laaha wa Rasoolahooo in kuntum mu'mineen

They ask thee (O Muhammad) of the spoils of war. Say: The spoils of war belong to Allah and the messenger, so keep your duty to Allah, and adjust the matter of your difference, and obey Allah and His messenger, if ye are (true) believers.

[۱] تجھ سے پوچھتے ہیں حکم غنیمت کا تو کہہ دے کے مال غنیمت اللہ کا ہے اور رسول کا سو ڈرو اللہ سے اور صلح کرو آپس میں اور حکم مانو اللہ کا اور اسکے رسول کا اگر تم ایمان رکھتے ہو

إِنَّمَا ٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَ ٱلَّذِينَ إِذَا ذُكِرَ ٱللَّهُ وَجِلَتْ قُلُوبُهُمْ وَإِذَا تُلِيَتْ عَلَيْهِمْ ءَايَٰتُهُۥ زَادَتْهُمْ إِيمَٰنًۭا وَعَلَىٰ رَبِّهِمْ يَتَوَكَّلُونَ

Innamal mu'minoonal lazeena izaa zukiral laahu wajilat quloobuhum wa izaa tuliyat 'alaihim Aayaatuhoo zaadat hum eemaananw wa 'alaa Rabbihim yatawakkaloon

They only are the (true) believers whose hearts feel fear when Allah is mentioned, and when His revelations are recited unto them they increase their faith, and who trust in their Lord;

ایمان والے وہی ہیں کہ جب نام آئے اللہ کا تو ڈر جائیں ان کے دل اور جب پڑھا جائے ان پر اس کا کلام تو زیادہ ہو جاتا ہےان کا ایمان اور وہ اپنے رب پر بھروسا رکھتے ہیں

ٱلَّذِينَ يُقِيمُونَ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَمِمَّا رَزَقْنَٰهُمْ يُنفِقُونَ

Allazeena yuqeemoonas Salaata wa mimmaa razaqnaahum yunfiqoon

Who establish worship and spend of that We have bestowed on them.

وہ لوگ جو کہ قائم رکھتے ہیں نماز کو اور ہم نے جو انکو روزی دی ہے اس میں سے خرچ کرتے ہیں

أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَ حَقًّۭا ۚ لَّهُمْ دَرَجَٰتٌ عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ وَمَغْفِرَةٌۭ وَرِزْقٌۭ كَرِيمٌۭ

Ulaaa'ika humul mu'minoona haqqaa; lahum darajaatun 'inda Rabbihim wa magh firatunw wa rizqun kareem

Those are they who are in truth believers. For them are grades (of honour) with their Lord, and pardon, and a bountiful provision.

وہی ہیں سچے ایمان والے انکے لئے درجے ہیں اپنے رب کے پاس اور معافی اور روزی عزت کی [۲]

كَمَآ أَخْرَجَكَ رَبُّكَ مِنۢ بَيْتِكَ بِٱلْحَقِّ وَإِنَّ فَرِيقًۭا مِّنَ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ لَكَٰرِهُونَ

Kaamaaa akhrajaka Rabbuka mim baitika bilhaqq; wa inna fareeqam minal mu'mineena lakaarihoon

Even as thy Lord caused thee (Muhammad) to go forth from thy home with the Truth, and lo! a party of the believers were averse (to it).

جیسے نکالا تجھ کو تیرے رب نے تیرے گھر سے حق کام کے واسطے اور ایک جماعت اہل ایمان کی راضی نہ تھی

يُجَٰدِلُونَكَ فِى ٱلْحَقِّ بَعْدَمَا تَبَيَّنَ كَأَنَّمَا يُسَاقُونَ إِلَى ٱلْمَوْتِ وَهُمْ يَنظُرُونَ

Yujaadiloonaka fil haqqi ba'da maa tabaiyana kaannamaa yasaaqoona ilal mawti wa hum uanzuroon

Disputing with thee of the Truth after it had been made manifest, as if they were being driven to death visible.

وہ تجھ سے جھگڑتے تھے حق بات میں اسکے ظاہر ہو چکنے کے بعد گویا وہ ہانکے جاتے ہیں موت کی طرف آنکھوں دیکھتے [۳]

وَإِذْ يَعِدُكُمُ ٱللَّهُ إِحْدَى ٱلطَّآئِفَتَيْنِ أَنَّهَا لَكُمْ وَتَوَدُّونَ أَنَّ غَيْرَ ذَاتِ ٱلشَّوْكَةِ تَكُونُ لَكُمْ وَيُرِيدُ ٱللَّهُ أَن يُحِقَّ ٱلْحَقَّ بِكَلِمَٰتِهِۦ وَيَقْطَعَ دَابِرَ ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ

Wa iz ya'idukumul laahu ihdat taaa'ifataini annahaa lakum wa tawaddoona anna ghaira zaatish shawkati takoonu lakum wa yureedul laahu ai yuhiqqal haqqa bikalimaatihee wa taqta'a daabiral kaafireen

And when Allah promised you one of the two bands (of the enemy) that it should be yours, and ye longed that other than the armed one might be yours. And Allah willed that He should cause the Truth to triumph by His words, and cut the root of the disbelievers;

اور جس وقت تم سے وعدہ کرتا تھا اللہ دو جماعتوں میں سے ایک کا کہ وہ تمہارے ہاتھ لگے گی اور تم چاہتے تھے کہ جس میں کانٹا نہ لگے وہ تم کو ملے اور اللہ چاہتا تھا کہ سچا کر دے سچ کو اپنے کلاموں سے اور کاٹ ڈالے جڑ کافروں کی

لِيُحِقَّ ٱلْحَقَّ وَيُبْطِلَ ٱلْبَٰطِلَ وَلَوْ كَرِهَ ٱلْمُجْرِمُونَ

Liyuhiqqal haqqa wa tubtilal baatila wa law karihal mujrimoon

That He might cause the Truth to triumph and bring vanity to naught, however much the guilty might oppose;

تاکہ سچا کرے سچ کو اور جھوٹا کر دے جھوٹ کو اور اگرچہ ناراض ہوں گنہگار [۴]

إِذْ تَسْتَغِيثُونَ رَبَّكُمْ فَٱسْتَجَابَ لَكُمْ أَنِّى مُمِدُّكُم بِأَلْفٍۢ مِّنَ ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةِ مُرْدِفِينَ

Iz tastagheesoona Rabbakum fastajaaba lakum annee mumiddukum bi alfim minal malaaa'ikati murdifeen

When ye sought help of your Lord and He answered you (saying): I will help you with a thousand of the angels, rank on rank.

جب تم لگے فریاد کرنے اپنے رب سے تو وہ پہنچا تمہاری فریاد کو کہ میں مدد بھیجوں گا تمہاری ہزار فرشتے لگاتار آنے والے

وَمَا جَعَلَهُ ٱللَّهُ إِلَّا بُشْرَىٰ وَلِتَطْمَئِنَّ بِهِۦ قُلُوبُكُمْ ۚ وَمَا ٱلنَّصْرُ إِلَّا مِنْ عِندِ ٱللَّهِ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَزِيزٌ حَكِيمٌ

Wa maa ja'alahul laahu illaa bushraa wa litatma'inna bihee quloobukum; wa man nasru illaa min 'indil laah; innal laaha Azeezun Hakeem

Allah appointed it only as good tidings, and that your hearts thereby might be at rest. Victory cometh only by the help of Allah. Lo! Allah is Mighty, Wise.

اور یہ تو دی اللہ نے فقط خوشخبری اور تاکہ مطمئن ہو جائیں اس سے تمہارےدل اور مدد نہیں مگر اللہ کی طرف سے بیشک اللہ زورآور ہے حکمت والا [۵]

إِذْ يُغَشِّيكُمُ ٱلنُّعَاسَ أَمَنَةًۭ مِّنْهُ وَيُنَزِّلُ عَلَيْكُم مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَآءًۭ لِّيُطَهِّرَكُم بِهِۦ وَيُذْهِبَ عَنكُمْ رِجْزَ ٱلشَّيْطَٰنِ وَلِيَرْبِطَ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِكُمْ وَيُثَبِّتَ بِهِ ٱلْأَقْدَامَ

Iz yughashsheekumun nu'assa amanatam minhu wa yunazzilu 'alaikum minas samaaa'i maaa'al liyutah hirakum bihee wa yuzhiba 'ankum rijzash Shaitaani wa liyarbita 'ala quloobikum wa yusabbita bihil aqdaam

When He made the slumber fall upon you as a reassurance from him and sent down water from the sky upon you, that thereby He might purify you, and remove from you the fear of Satan, and make strong your hearts and firm (your) feet thereby.

جس وقت کہ ڈالدی اس نے تم پر اونگھ اپنی طرف سے تسکین کے واسطے اور اتارا تم پر آسمان سے پانی کہ اس سے تم کو پاک کر دے اور دور کر دے تم سے شیطان کی نجاست اور مضبوط کر دے تمہارے دلوں کو اور جما دے اس سے تمہارے قدم [۶]

إِذْ يُوحِى رَبُّكَ إِلَى ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةِ أَنِّى مَعَكُمْ فَثَبِّتُوا۟ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ ۚ سَأُلْقِى فِى قُلُوبِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ ٱلرُّعْبَ فَٱضْرِبُوا۟ فَوْقَ ٱلْأَعْنَاقِ وَٱضْرِبُوا۟ مِنْهُمْ كُلَّ بَنَانٍۢ

Iz yoohee Rabbuka ilal malaaa'ikati annee ma'akum fasabbitul lazeena aamanoo; sa ulqee fee quloobil lazeena kafarur ru'ba fadriboo fawqal a'naaqi wadriboo minhum kulla banaan

When thy Lord inspired the angels, (saying): I am with you. So make those who believe stand firm. I will throw fear into the hearts of those who disbelieve. Then smite the necks and smite of them each finger.

جب حکم بھیجا تیرے رب نے فرشتوں کو کہ میں ساتھ ہوں تمہارے سو تم دل ثابت رکھو مسلمانوں کے میں ڈال دوں گا دل میں کافروں کے دہشت سو مارو گردنوں پر اور کاٹو ان کی پور پور

ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ شَآقُّوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُۥ ۚ وَمَن يُشَاقِقِ ٱللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُۥ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ شَدِيدُ ٱلْعِقَابِ

Zaalika bi annahum shaaaqqul laaha wa Rasoolah; wa mai yushaqiqil laaha wa Rasoolahoo fa innal laaha shadeedul 'iqaab

That is because they opposed Allah and His messenger. Whoso opposeth Allah and His messenger, (for him) lo! Allah is severe in punishment.

یہ اس واسطے ہے کہ وہ مخالف ہوئے اللہ کے اور اسکے رسول کے اور جو کوئی مخالف ہوا اللہ کا اور اس کے رسول کا تو بیشک اللہ کا عذاب سخت ہے

ذَٰلِكُمْ فَذُوقُوهُ وَأَنَّ لِلْكَٰفِرِينَ عَذَابَ ٱلنَّارِ

Zaalikum fazooqoohu wa anna lilkaafireena 'azaaban Naar

That (is the award), so taste it, and (know) that for disbelievers is the torment of the Fire.

یہ تو تم چکھ لو اور جان رکھو کہ کافروں کے لئے ہے عذاب دوزخ کا [۷]

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓا۟ إِذَا لَقِيتُمُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ زَحْفًۭا فَلَا تُوَلُّوهُمُ ٱلْأَدْبَارَ

Yaaa aiyuhal lazeena aamanoo izaa laqeetumul lazeena kafaroo zahfan falaa tuwalloohumul adbaar

O ye who believe! When ye meet those who disbelieve in battle, turn not your backs to them.

اے ایمان والو جب بھڑو تم کافروں سے میدان جنگ میں تو مت پھیرو ان سے پیٹھ [۸]

وَمَن يُوَلِّهِمْ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ دُبُرَهُۥٓ إِلَّا مُتَحَرِّفًۭا لِّقِتَالٍ أَوْ مُتَحَيِّزًا إِلَىٰ فِئَةٍۢ فَقَدْ بَآءَ بِغَضَبٍۢ مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ وَمَأْوَىٰهُ جَهَنَّمُ ۖ وَبِئْسَ ٱلْمَصِيرُ

Wa mai yuwallihim yawma'izin duburahooo illaa mutaharrifal liqitaalin aw mutahaiyizan ilaa fi'atin faqad baaa'a bighadabim minal laahi wa maawaahu Jahannamu wa bi'sal maseer

Whoso on that day turneth his back to them, unless manoeuvring for battle or intent to join a company, he truly hath incurred wrath from Allah, and his habitation will be hell, a hapless journey's end.

اور جو کوئی ان سے پھیرے پیٹھ اس دن مگر یہ کہ ہنر کرتا ہو لڑائی کا یا جا ملتا ہو فوج میں سو وہ پھرا اللہ کا غضب لے کر اور اس کا ٹھکانہ دوزخ ہے اور وہ کیا برا ٹھکانہ ہے [۹]

فَلَمْ تَقْتُلُوهُمْ وَلَٰكِنَّ ٱللَّهَ قَتَلَهُمْ ۚ وَمَا رَمَيْتَ إِذْ رَمَيْتَ وَلَٰكِنَّ ٱللَّهَ رَمَىٰ ۚ وَلِيُبْلِىَ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ مِنْهُ بَلَآءً حَسَنًا ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ سَمِيعٌ عَلِيمٌۭ

Falam taqtuloohum wa laakinnal laaha qatalahum; wa maa ramaita iz ramaita wa laakinnal laaha ramaa; wa liyubliyal mu'mineena minhu balaaa'an hasanaa; innal laaha Samee'un Aleem

Ye (Muslims) slew them not, but Allah slew them. And thou (Muhammad) threwest not when thou didst throw, but Allah threw, that He might test the believers by a fair test from Him. Lo! Allah is Hearer, Knower.

سو تم نے ان کو نہیں مارا لیکن اللہ نے ان کو مارا اور تو نے نہینں پھینکی مٹھی خا ک کی جس وقت کہ پھینکی تھی لیکن اللہ نے پھینکی اور تاکہ کرے ایمان والوں پر اپنی طرف سے خوب احسان بیشک اللہ ہے سننے والا جاننے والا [۱۰]

ذَٰلِكُمْ وَأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ مُوهِنُ كَيْدِ ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ

Zaalikum wa annal laaha moohinu kaidil kaafireen

That (is the case); and (know) that Allah (it is) Who maketh weak the plan of disbelievers.

یہ تو ہو چکا اور جان رکھو کہ اللہ سست کر دے گا تدبیر کافروں کی [۱۱]

إِن تَسْتَفْتِحُوا۟ فَقَدْ جَآءَكُمُ ٱلْفَتْحُ ۖ وَإِن تَنتَهُوا۟ فَهُوَ خَيْرٌۭ لَّكُمْ ۖ وَإِن تَعُودُوا۟ نَعُدْ وَلَن تُغْنِىَ عَنكُمْ فِئَتُكُمْ شَيْـًۭٔا وَلَوْ كَثُرَتْ وَأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ مَعَ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ

In tastaftihoo faqad jaaa'akumul fathu wa in tantahoo fahuwa khairul lakum wa in ta'oodoo na'ud wa lan tughniya 'ankum fi'atukum shai'anw wa law kasurat wa annal laaha ma'al mu'mineen

(O Qureysh!) If ye sought a judgment, now hath the judgment come unto you. And if ye cease (from persecuting the believers) it will be better for you, but if ye return (to the attack) We also shall return. And your host will avail you naught, however numerous it be, and (know) that Allah is with the believers (in His Guidance).

اگر تم چاہتے ہو فیصلہ تو پہنچ چکا تمہارے پاس فیصلہ اور اگر باز آؤ تو تمہارے لئے بہتر ہے اور اگر پھر یہی کرو گے تو ہم بھی پھر یہی کریں گے اور کچھ کام نہ آئے گا تمہارے تمہارا جتھا اگرچہ بہت ہوں اور جان لو کہ اللہ ایمان والوں کے ساتھ ہے [۱۲]

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓا۟ أَطِيعُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُۥ وَلَا تَوَلَّوْا۟ عَنْهُ وَأَنتُمْ تَسْمَعُونَ

Yaaa aiyuhal lazeena aamanoo atee'ul laaha wa Rasoolahoo wa laa tawallaw 'anhu wa antum tasm'oon

O ye who believe! Obey Allah and His messenger, and turn not away from him when ye hear (him speak).

اے ایمان والو حکم مانو اللہ کا اور اسکے رسول کا اور اس سے مت پھرو سن کر [۱۳]

وَلَا تَكُونُوا۟ كَٱلَّذِينَ قَالُوا۟ سَمِعْنَا وَهُمْ لَا يَسْمَعُونَ

Wa laa takoonoo kallazeena qaaloo sami'naa wa hum laa yasma'oon

Be not as those who say, we hear, and they hear not.

اور ان جیسے مت ہو جنہوں نے کہا ہم نے سن لیا اور وہ سنتے نہیں [۱۴]

۞ إِنَّ شَرَّ ٱلدَّوَآبِّ عِندَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلصُّمُّ ٱلْبُكْمُ ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يَعْقِلُونَ

Inna sharrad dawaaabbi 'indal laahis summul bukmul lazeena laa ya'qiloon

Lo! the worst of beasts in Allah's sight are the deaf, the dumb, who have no sense.

بیشک سب جانداروں میں بدتر اللہ کے نزدیک وہی بہرےگونگے ہیں جو نہیں سمجھتے [۱۵]

وَلَوْ عَلِمَ ٱللَّهُ فِيهِمْ خَيْرًۭا لَّأَسْمَعَهُمْ ۖ وَلَوْ أَسْمَعَهُمْ لَتَوَلَّوا۟ وَّهُم مُّعْرِضُونَ

Wa law 'alimal laahu feehim khairal la asma'ahum; wa law asma'ahum latawallaw wa hum mu'ridoon

Had Allah known of any good in them He would have made them hear, but had He made them hear they would have turned away, averse.

اور اگر اللہ جانتا ان میں کچھ بھلائی تو ان کو سنا دیتا اور اگر ان کو اب سنا دے تو ضرور بھاگیں گے منہ پھیر کر [۱۶]

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ ٱسْتَجِيبُوا۟ لِلَّهِ وَلِلرَّسُولِ إِذَا دَعَاكُمْ لِمَا يُحْيِيكُمْ ۖ وَٱعْلَمُوٓا۟ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَحُولُ بَيْنَ ٱلْمَرْءِ وَقَلْبِهِۦ وَأَنَّهُۥٓ إِلَيْهِ تُحْشَرُونَ

Yaaa aiyuhal lazeena aamanus tajeeboo lillaahi wa lir Rasooli izaa da'aakum limaa yuhyeekum wa'lamooo annal laaha yahoolu bainal mar'i wa qalbihee wa anahooo ilaihi tuhsharoon

O ye who believe! Obey Allah, and the messenger when He calleth you to that which quickeneth you, and know that Allah cometh in between the man and his own heart, and that He it is unto Whom ye will be gathered.

اے ایمان والو حکم مانو اللہ کا اور رسول کا جس وقت بلائے تم کو اس کام کی طرف جس میں تمہاری زندگی ہے [۱۷] اور جان لو کہ اللہ روک لیتا ہے آدمی سے اس کے دل کو اور یہ کہ اسی کے پاس تم جمع ہو گے [۱۸]

وَٱتَّقُوا۟ فِتْنَةًۭ لَّا تُصِيبَنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا۟ مِنكُمْ خَآصَّةًۭ ۖ وَٱعْلَمُوٓا۟ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ شَدِيدُ ٱلْعِقَابِ

Wattaqoo fitnatal laa tuseebannal lazeena zalamoo minkum khaaaassatanw wa'lamooo annal laaha shadeedul 'iqaab

And guard yourselves against a chastisement which cannot fall exclusively on those of you who are wrong-doers, and know that Allah is severe in punishment.

اور بچتے رہو اس فساد سے کہ نہیں پڑے گا تم میں سے خاص ظالموں ہی پر اور جان لو کہ اللہ کا عذاب سخت ہے [۱۹]

وَٱذْكُرُوٓا۟ إِذْ أَنتُمْ قَلِيلٌۭ مُّسْتَضْعَفُونَ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ تَخَافُونَ أَن يَتَخَطَّفَكُمُ ٱلنَّاسُ فَـَٔاوَىٰكُمْ وَأَيَّدَكُم بِنَصْرِهِۦ وَرَزَقَكُم مِّنَ ٱلطَّيِّبَٰتِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ

Wazkurooo iz antum qaleelum mustad 'afoona filardi takhaafoona ai yatakhat tafakumun naasu fa aawaakum wa aiyadakum binasrihee wa razaqakum minat taiyibaati la'allakum tashkuroon

And remember, when ye were few and reckoned feeble in the land, and were in fear lest men should extirpate you, how He gave you refuge, and strengthened you with His help, and made provision of good things for you, that haply ye might be thankful.

اور یاد کرو جس وقت تم تھوڑے تھے مغلوب پڑے ہوئے ملک میں ڈرتے تھے کہ اچک لیں تم کو لوگ پھر اس نے تم کو ٹھکانہ دیا اور قوت دی تم کو اپنی مدد سے اور روزی دی تم کو ستھری چیزیں تاکہ تم شکر کرو [۲۰]

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ لَا تَخُونُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَٱلرَّسُولَ وَتَخُونُوٓا۟ أَمَٰنَٰتِكُمْ وَأَنتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ

Yaaa aiyuhal lazeena aamanoo laa takhoonal laaha war Rasoola wa takhoonooo amaanaatikum wa antum ta'lamoon

O ye who believe! Betray not Allah and His messenger, nor knowingly betray your trusts.

اے ایمان والو خیانت نہ کرو اللہ سے اور رسول سے اور خیانت نہ کرو آپس کی امانتوں میں جان کر [۲۱]

وَٱعْلَمُوٓا۟ أَنَّمَآ أَمْوَٰلُكُمْ وَأَوْلَٰدُكُمْ فِتْنَةٌۭ وَأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ عِندَهُۥٓ أَجْرٌ عَظِيمٌۭ

Wa'lamooo annamaaa amwaalukum wa awlaadukum fitnatunw wa annal laaha 'indahooo ajrun azeem

And know that your possessions and your children are a test, and that with Allah is immense reward.

اور جان لو کہ بیشک تمہارےمال اور اولاد خرابی میں ڈالنے والے ہیں اور یہ کہ اللہ کے پاس بڑا ثواب ہے [۲۲]

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓا۟ إِن تَتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ يَجْعَل لَّكُمْ فُرْقَانًۭا وَيُكَفِّرْ عَنكُمْ سَيِّـَٔاتِكُمْ وَيَغْفِرْ لَكُمْ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ ذُو ٱلْفَضْلِ ٱلْعَظِيمِ

Yaaa aiyuhal lazeena aamanooo in tattaqul laaha yaj'al lakum furqaananw wa yukaffir 'ankum saiyi aatikum wa yaghfir lakum; wallaahu zul fadlil 'azeem

O ye who believe! If ye keep your duty to Allah, He will give you discrimination (between right and wrong) and will rid you of your evil thoughts and deeds, and will forgive you. Allah is of Infinite Bounty.

اے ایمان والو اگر تم ڈرتے رہو گے اللہ سے تو کر دے گا تم میں فیصلہ [۲۳] اور دور کر دے گا تم سے تمہارے گناہ اور تم کو بخش دے گا اور اللہ کا فضل بڑا ہے

وَإِذْ يَمْكُرُ بِكَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ لِيُثْبِتُوكَ أَوْ يَقْتُلُوكَ أَوْ يُخْرِجُوكَ ۚ وَيَمْكُرُونَ وَيَمْكُرُ ٱللَّهُ ۖ وَٱللَّهُ خَيْرُ ٱلْمَٰكِرِينَ

Wa iz yamkuru bikal lazeena kafaroo liyusbitooka aw yaqtulooka aw yukhrijook; wa yamkuroona wa yamkurul laahu wallaahu khairul maakireen

And when those who disbelieve plot against thee (O Muhammad) to wound thee fatally, or to kill thee or to drive thee forth; they plot, but Allah (also) plotteth; and Allah is the best of plotters.

اور جب فریب کرتے تھے کافر کہ تجھ کو قید میں کر دیں یا مار ڈالیں یا نکال دیں اور وہ بھی داؤ کرتے تھے اور اللہ بھی داؤ کرتا تھا اور اللہ کا داؤ سب سے بہتر ہے [۲۴]

وَإِذَا تُتْلَىٰ عَلَيْهِمْ ءَايَٰتُنَا قَالُوا۟ قَدْ سَمِعْنَا لَوْ نَشَآءُ لَقُلْنَا مِثْلَ هَٰذَآ ۙ إِنْ هَٰذَآ إِلَّآ أَسَٰطِيرُ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ

Wa izaa tutlaa 'alaihim Aayaatunaa qaaloo qad sami'naa law nashaaa'u laqulnaa misla haazaaa in haazaaa illaaa asaateerul awwaleen

And when Our revelations are recited unto them they say: We have heard. If we wish we can speak the like of this. Lo! this is naught but fables of the men of old.

اور جب کوئی پڑھے ان پر ہماری آیتیں تو کہیں ہم سن چکے اگر ہم چاہیں تو ہم بھی کہہ لیں ایسا یہ تو کچھ بھی نہیں مگر احوال ہیں اگلوں کے [۲۵]

وَإِذْ قَالُوا۟ ٱللَّهُمَّ إِن كَانَ هَٰذَا هُوَ ٱلْحَقَّ مِنْ عِندِكَ فَأَمْطِرْ عَلَيْنَا حِجَارَةًۭ مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ أَوِ ٱئْتِنَا بِعَذَابٍ أَلِيمٍۢ

Wa iz qaalul laahumma in kaana haazaa huwal haqqa min 'indika fa amtir 'alainaa hijaaratam minas samaaa'i awi'tinaa bi 'azaabin alaeem

And when they said: O Allah! If this be indeed the truth from Thee, then rain down stones on us or bring on us some painful doom!

اور جب وہ کہنے لگے کہ یا اللہ اگر یہی دین حق ہے تیری طرف سے تو ہم پر برسا دے پتھر آسمان سے یا لا ہم پر کوئی عذاب دردناک [۲۶]

وَمَا كَانَ ٱللَّهُ لِيُعَذِّبَهُمْ وَأَنتَ فِيهِمْ ۚ وَمَا كَانَ ٱللَّهُ مُعَذِّبَهُمْ وَهُمْ يَسْتَغْفِرُونَ

Wa maa kanal laahu liyu'az zibahum wa anta feehim; wa maa kaanal laahu mu'az zibahum wa hum yastaghfiroon

But Allah would not punish them while thou wast with them, nor will He punish them while they seek forgiveness.

اور اللہ ہر گز نہ عذاب کرتا ان پر جب تک تو رہتا ان میں [۲۷] اور اللہ ہرگز نہ عذاب کرے گا ان پر جب تک وہ معافی مانگتے رہیں گے [۲۸]

وَمَا لَهُمْ أَلَّا يُعَذِّبَهُمُ ٱللَّهُ وَهُمْ يَصُدُّونَ عَنِ ٱلْمَسْجِدِ ٱلْحَرَامِ وَمَا كَانُوٓا۟ أَوْلِيَآءَهُۥٓ ۚ إِنْ أَوْلِيَآؤُهُۥٓ إِلَّا ٱلْمُتَّقُونَ وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ

Wa maa lahum allaa yu'az zibahumul laahu wa hum yasuddoona 'anil Masjidil-Haraami wa maa kaanooo awliyaaa'ah; in awliyaaa' uhooo illal muttaqoona wa laakinna aksarahum laa ya'lamoon

What (plea) have they that Allah should not punish them, when they debar (His servants) from the Inviolable Place of Worship, though they are not its fitting guardians. Its fitting guardians are those only who keep their duty to Allah. But most of them know not.

اور ان میں کیا بات ہے کہ عذاب نہ کرے ان پر اللہ اور وہ تو روکتے ہیں مسجد حرام سے اور وہ اس کے اختیار والے نہیں اس کے اختیار والے تو وہی ہیں جو پرہیزگار ہیں لیکن ان میں اکثروں کو اس کی خبر نہیں [۲۹]

وَمَا كَانَ صَلَاتُهُمْ عِندَ ٱلْبَيْتِ إِلَّا مُكَآءًۭ وَتَصْدِيَةًۭ ۚ فَذُوقُوا۟ ٱلْعَذَابَ بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَكْفُرُونَ

Wa maa kaana Salaatuhum 'indal Baiti illa mukaaa anw-wa tasdiyah; fazooqul 'azaaba bimaa kuntum takfuroon

And their worship at the (holy) House is naught but whistling and hand-clapping. Therefore (it is said unto them): Taste of the doom because ye disbelieve.

اور ان کی نماز نہیں تھی کعبہ کے پاس مگر سیٹیاں بجانی اور تالیاں سو چکھو عذاب بدلا اپنے کفر کا [۳۰]

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ يُنفِقُونَ أَمْوَٰلَهُمْ لِيَصُدُّوا۟ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ ۚ فَسَيُنفِقُونَهَا ثُمَّ تَكُونُ عَلَيْهِمْ حَسْرَةًۭ ثُمَّ يُغْلَبُونَ ۗ وَٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوٓا۟ إِلَىٰ جَهَنَّمَ يُحْشَرُونَ

Innal lazeena kafaroo yunfiqoona amwaalahum liyasuddoo 'an sabeelil laah; fasayunfiqoonahaa summa takoonu 'alaihim hasratan summa yughlaboon; wal lazeena kafarooo ilaa Jahannnama yuhsharoona

Lo! those who disbelieve spend their wealth in order that they may debar (men) from the way of Allah. They will spend it, then it will become an anguish for them, then they will be conquered. And those who disbelieve will be gathered unto hell,

بیشک جو لوگ کافر ہیں وہ خرچ کرتے ہیں اپنے مال تاکہ روکیں اللہ کی راہ سے [۳۱] سو ابھی اور خرچ کریں گے پھر آخر ہو گا وہ ان پر افسوس اور آخر مغلوب ہوں گے اور جو کافر ہیں وہ دوزخ کی طرف ہانکے جائیں گے [۳۲]

لِيَمِيزَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلْخَبِيثَ مِنَ ٱلطَّيِّبِ وَيَجْعَلَ ٱلْخَبِيثَ بَعْضَهُۥ عَلَىٰ بَعْضٍۢ فَيَرْكُمَهُۥ جَمِيعًۭا فَيَجْعَلَهُۥ فِى جَهَنَّمَ ۚ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْخَٰسِرُونَ

Liyameezal laahul khabeesa minat taiyibi wa yaj'alal khabeesa ba'dahoo 'ala ba'din fayarkumahoo jamee'an fayaj'alahoo fee Jahannnam; ulaaa'ika humul khaasiroon

That Allah may separate the wicked from the good, The wicked will He place piece upon piece, and heap them all together, and consign them unto hell. Such verily are the losers.

تاکہ جدا کر دے اللہ ناپاک کو پاک سے اور رکھے ناپاک کو ایک کو ایک پر پھر اس کو ڈھیر کر دے اکٹھا پھر ڈالدے اسکو دوزخ میں [۳۳] وہی لوگ ہیں نقصان میں [۳۴]

قُل لِّلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوٓا۟ إِن يَنتَهُوا۟ يُغْفَرْ لَهُم مَّا قَدْ سَلَفَ وَإِن يَعُودُوا۟ فَقَدْ مَضَتْ سُنَّتُ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ

Qul lillazeena kafarooo iny yantahoo yughfar lahum maa qad salafa wa iny ya'oodoo faqad madat sunnatul awwaleen

Tell those who disbelieve that if they cease (from persecution of believers) that which is past will be forgiven them; but if they return (thereto) then the example of the men of old hath already gone (before them, for a warning).

تو کہہ دے کافروں کو کہ اگر وہ باز آ جائیں تو معاف ہو ان کو جو کچھ ہو چکا [۳۵] اور اگر پھر بھی وہی کریں گے تو پڑ چکی ہے راہ اگلوں کی [۳۶]

وَقَٰتِلُوهُمْ حَتَّىٰ لَا تَكُونَ فِتْنَةٌۭ وَيَكُونَ ٱلدِّينُ كُلُّهُۥ لِلَّهِ ۚ فَإِنِ ٱنتَهَوْا۟ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ بِمَا يَعْمَلُونَ بَصِيرٌۭ

Wa qaatiloohum hattaa laa takoona fitnatunw wa yakoonaddeenu kulluhoo lillaah; fainin tahaw fa innallaaha bimaa ya'maloona Baseer

And fight them until persecution is no more, and religion is all for Allah. But if they cease, then lo! Allah is Seer of what they do.

اور لڑتے رہو ان سے یہاں تک کہ نہ رہے فساد [۳۷] اور ہو جائے حکم سب اللہ کا [۳۸] پھر اگر وہ باز آ جائیں تو اللہ ان کے کام کو دیکھتا ہے [۳۹]

وَإِن تَوَلَّوْا۟ فَٱعْلَمُوٓا۟ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ مَوْلَىٰكُمْ ۚ نِعْمَ ٱلْمَوْلَىٰ وَنِعْمَ ٱلنَّصِيرُ

Wa in tawallaw fa'lamooo annal laaha mawlaakum; ni'mal mawlaa wa ni'man naseer

And if they turn away, then know that Allah is your Befriender - a Transcendent Patron, a Transcendent Helper!

اور اگر وہ نہ مانیں تو جان لو کہ اللہ تمہارا حمایتی ہے کیا خوب حمایتی ہے اور کیا خوب مددگار [۴۰]

۞ وَٱعْلَمُوٓا۟ أَنَّمَا غَنِمْتُم مِّن شَىْءٍۢ فَأَنَّ لِلَّهِ خُمُسَهُۥ وَلِلرَّسُولِ وَلِذِى ٱلْقُرْبَىٰ وَٱلْيَتَٰمَىٰ وَٱلْمَسَٰكِينِ وَٱبْنِ ٱلسَّبِيلِ إِن كُنتُمْ ءَامَنتُم بِٱللَّهِ وَمَآ أَنزَلْنَا عَلَىٰ عَبْدِنَا يَوْمَ ٱلْفُرْقَانِ يَوْمَ ٱلْتَقَى ٱلْجَمْعَانِ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍۢ قَدِيرٌ

Wa'lamooo annamaa ghanimtum min sha'in fa anna lillaahi khumusahoo wa lir Rasooli wa lizil qurba walyataamaa walmasaakeeni wabnis sabeeli in kuntum aamantum billaahi wa maaa anzalnaa 'ala 'abdinaa yawmal Furqaani yawmaltaqal jam'aan; wal laahu 'alaa kulli shai'in Qadeer

And know that whatever ye take as spoils of war, lo! a fifth thereof is for Allah, and for the messenger and for the kinsman (who hath need) and orphans and the needy and the wayfarer, if ye believe in Allah and that which We revealed unto Our slave on the Day of Discrimination, the day when the two armies met. And Allah is Able to do all things.

اور جان رکھو کہ جو کچھ تم کو غنیمت ملے کسی چیز سے سو اللہ کے واسطے ہے اس میں سے پانچواں حصہ اور رسول کے واسطے اور اسکے قرابت والوں کے واسطے اور یتیموں اور محتاجوں اور مسافروں کے واسطے [۴۱] اگر تم کو یقین ہے اللہ پر اور اس چیز پر جو ہم نے اتاری اپنے بندے پر فیصلہ کے دن [۴۲] جس دن بھڑ گئیں دونوں فوجیں اور اللہ ہر چیز پر قادر ہے [۴۳]

إِذْ أَنتُم بِٱلْعُدْوَةِ ٱلدُّنْيَا وَهُم بِٱلْعُدْوَةِ ٱلْقُصْوَىٰ وَٱلرَّكْبُ أَسْفَلَ مِنكُمْ ۚ وَلَوْ تَوَاعَدتُّمْ لَٱخْتَلَفْتُمْ فِى ٱلْمِيعَٰدِ ۙ وَلَٰكِن لِّيَقْضِىَ ٱللَّهُ أَمْرًۭا كَانَ مَفْعُولًۭا لِّيَهْلِكَ مَنْ هَلَكَ عَنۢ بَيِّنَةٍۢ وَيَحْيَىٰ مَنْ حَىَّ عَنۢ بَيِّنَةٍۢ ۗ وَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَسَمِيعٌ عَلِيمٌ

Iz antum bil'udwatid dunyaa wa hum bil'udwatil quswaa warrakbu asfala minkum; wa law tawaa'attum lakhtalaftum fil mee'aadi wa laakil liyaqdiyal laahu amran kaana maf'oolal liyahlika man halaka 'am baiyinatinw wa yahyaa man haiya 'am baiyinah; wa innal laaha la Samee'un 'Aleem

When ye were on the near bank (of the valley) and they were on the yonder bank, and the caravan was below you (on the coast plain). And had ye trysted to meet one another ye surely would have failed to keep the tryst, but (it happened, as it did, without the forethought of either of you) that Allah might conclude a thing that must be done; that he who perished (on that day) might perish by a clear proof (of His Sovereignty) and he who survived might survive by a clear proof (of His Sovereignty). Lo! Allah in truth is Hearer, Knower.

جس وقت تم تھے ورلے کنارہ پر اور وہ پرلے کنارہ پر [۴۴] اور قافلہ نیچے اتر گیا تھا تم سے [۴۵] اور اگر تم آپس میں وعدہ کرتےتو نہ پہنچتے وعدہ پر ایک ساتھ [۴۶] لیکن اللہ کو کر ڈالنا تھا ایک کام کو جو مقرر ہو چکا تھا تاکہ مرے جس کو مرنا ہے قیام حجت کےبعد اور جیوے جس کو جینا ہے قیام حجت کے بعد [۴۷] اور بیشک اللہ سننے والا جاننے والا ہے [۴۸]

إِذْ يُرِيكَهُمُ ٱللَّهُ فِى مَنَامِكَ قَلِيلًۭا ۖ وَلَوْ أَرَىٰكَهُمْ كَثِيرًۭا لَّفَشِلْتُمْ وَلَتَنَٰزَعْتُمْ فِى ٱلْأَمْرِ وَلَٰكِنَّ ٱللَّهَ سَلَّمَ ۗ إِنَّهُۥ عَلِيمٌۢ بِذَاتِ ٱلصُّدُورِ

Iz yureekahumul laahu fee manaamika qaleela; wa law araakahum kaseeral lafashiltum wa latanaaza'tum fil amri wa laakinnal laaha sallam; innahoo 'aleemum bizaatis sudoor

When Allah showed them unto thee (O Muhammad) in thy dream as few in number, and if He had shown them to thee as many, ye (Muslims) would have faltered and would have quarrelled over the affair. But Allah saved (you). Lo! He knoweth what is in the breasts (of men).

جب اللہ نے وہ کافر دکھلائے تجھ کو تیری خواب میں تھوڑے [۴۹] اور اگر تجھ کو بہت دکھلا دیتا تو تم لوگ نامردی کرتے اور جھگرا ڈالتے کام میں لیکن اللہ نے بچا لیا اس کو خوب معلوم ہے جو بات ہے دلوں میں [۵۰]

وَإِذْ يُرِيكُمُوهُمْ إِذِ ٱلْتَقَيْتُمْ فِىٓ أَعْيُنِكُمْ قَلِيلًۭا وَيُقَلِّلُكُمْ فِىٓ أَعْيُنِهِمْ لِيَقْضِىَ ٱللَّهُ أَمْرًۭا كَانَ مَفْعُولًۭا ۗ وَإِلَى ٱللَّهِ تُرْجَعُ ٱلْأُمُورُ

Wa iz yureekumoohum izil taqaitum feee a'yunikum qaleelanw wa yuqallilukum feee a'yunihim liyaqdiyal laahu amran kaana maf'oolaa; wa ilal laahi turja'ul umoor

And when He made you (Muslims), when ye met (them), see them with your eyes as few, and lessened you in their eyes, (it was) that Allah might conclude a thing that must be done. Unto Allah all things are brought back.

اور جب تم کو دکھلائی وہ فوج مقابلہ کے وقت تمہاری آنکھوں میں تھوڑی اور تم کو تھوڑا دکھلایا ان کی آنکھوں میں تاکہ کر ڈالے اللہ ایک کام جو مقرر ہو چکا تھا اور اللہ تک پہنچتا ہے ہر کام [۵۱]

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓا۟ إِذَا لَقِيتُمْ فِئَةًۭ فَٱثْبُتُوا۟ وَٱذْكُرُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ كَثِيرًۭا لَّعَلَّكُمْ تُفْلِحُونَ

Yaaa aiyuhal lazeena aamanooo izaa laqeetum fi'atan fasbutoo wazkurul laaha kaseeral la'allakum tuflihoon

O ye who believe! When ye meet an army, hold firm and think of Allah much, that ye may be successful.

اے ایمان والو جب بھڑو کسی فوج سے تو ثابت قدم رہو اور اللہ کو بہت یاد کرو [۵۲] تاکہ تم مراد پاؤ

وَأَطِيعُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُۥ وَلَا تَنَٰزَعُوا۟ فَتَفْشَلُوا۟ وَتَذْهَبَ رِيحُكُمْ ۖ وَٱصْبِرُوٓا۟ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ مَعَ ٱلصَّٰبِرِينَ

Wa atee'ul laaha wa Rasoolahoo wa laa tanaaza'oo fatafshaloo wa tazhaba reehukum wasbiroo; innal laaha ma'as saabireen

And obey Allah and His messenger, and dispute not one with another lest ye falter and your strength depart from you; but be steadfast! Lo! Allah is with the steadfast.

اور حکم مانو اللہ کا اور اسکے رسول کا اور آپس میں نہ جھگڑو پس نامرد ہو جاؤ گے اور جاتی رہے گی تمہاری ہوا [۵۳] اور صبر کرو بیشک اللہ ساتھ ہے صبر والوں کے [۵۴]

وَلَا تَكُونُوا۟ كَٱلَّذِينَ خَرَجُوا۟ مِن دِيَٰرِهِم بَطَرًۭا وَرِئَآءَ ٱلنَّاسِ وَيَصُدُّونَ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ ۚ وَٱللَّهُ بِمَا يَعْمَلُونَ مُحِيطٌۭ

Wa laa takoonoo kallazeena kharajoo min diyaarihim bataranw wa ri'aaa'an naasi wa yasuddoona 'an sabeelil laah; wallaahu bimaa ya'maloona muheet

Be not as those who came forth from their dwellings boastfully and to be seen of men, and debar (men) from the way of Allah, while Allah is surrounding all they do.

اور نہ ہو جاؤ ان جیسے جو کہ نکلے اپنے گھروں سے اتراتے ہوئے اور لوگوں کے دکھانے کو اور روکتے تھے اللہ کی راہ سے اور اللہ کے قابو میں ہے جو کچھ وہ کرتے ہیں [۵۵]

وَإِذْ زَيَّنَ لَهُمُ ٱلشَّيْطَٰنُ أَعْمَٰلَهُمْ وَقَالَ لَا غَالِبَ لَكُمُ ٱلْيَوْمَ مِنَ ٱلنَّاسِ وَإِنِّى جَارٌۭ لَّكُمْ ۖ فَلَمَّا تَرَآءَتِ ٱلْفِئَتَانِ نَكَصَ عَلَىٰ عَقِبَيْهِ وَقَالَ إِنِّى بَرِىٓءٌۭ مِّنكُمْ إِنِّىٓ أَرَىٰ مَا لَا تَرَوْنَ إِنِّىٓ أَخَافُ ٱللَّهَ ۚ وَٱللَّهُ شَدِيدُ ٱلْعِقَابِ

Wa iz zaiyana lahumush shaitaanu a'ma alahum wa qaala laa ghaaliba lakumul yawma minan naasi wa innee jaarul lakum falammaa taraaa'atil fi'ataani nakasa 'alaa aqibaihi wa qaala innee bareee'um minkum innee araa maa laa tarawna inneee akhaaful laah; wallaahu shadeedul 'iqaab

And when Satan made their deeds seem fair to them and said: No-one of mankind can conquer you this day, for I am your protector. But when the armies came in sight of one another, he took flight, saying: Lo! I am guiltless of you. Lo! I see that which ye see not. Lo! I fear Allah. And Allah is severe in punishment.

اور جس وقت خوشنما کر دیا شیطان نے انکی نظروں میں ان کے عملوں کو اور بولا کہ کوئی بھی غالب نہ ہوگا تم پر آج کے دن لوگوں میں سے اور میں تمہارا حمایتی ہوں پھر جب سامنے ہوئیں دونوں فوجیں تو وہ الٹا پھرا اپنی ایڑیوں پر اور بولا میں تمہارے ساتھ نہیں ہو ں میں دیکھتا ہوں جو تم نہیں دیکھتے میں ڈرتا ہوں اللہ سے اور اللہ کا عذاب سخت ہے [۵۶]

إِذْ يَقُولُ ٱلْمُنَٰفِقُونَ وَٱلَّذِينَ فِى قُلُوبِهِم مَّرَضٌ غَرَّ هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ دِينُهُمْ ۗ وَمَن يَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَزِيزٌ حَكِيمٌۭ

Iz yaqoolul munaafiqoona wallazeena fee quloobihim maradun gharra haaa'ulaaa'i deenuhum; wa mai yatawakkal 'alal laahi fa innal laaha 'azee zun Hakeem

When the hypocrites and those in whose hearts is a disease said: Their religion hath deluded these. Whoso putteth his trust in Allah (will find that) lo! Allah is Mighty, Wise.

جب کہنے لگے منافق اور جن کےدلوں میں بیماری ہے یہ لوگ مغرور ہیں اپنے دین پر اور جو کوئی بھروسہ کرے اللہ پر تو اللہ زبردست ہے حکمت والا [۵۷]

وَلَوْ تَرَىٰٓ إِذْ يَتَوَفَّى ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ ۙ ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ يَضْرِبُونَ وُجُوهَهُمْ وَأَدْبَٰرَهُمْ وَذُوقُوا۟ عَذَابَ ٱلْحَرِيقِ

Wa law taraaa iz yatawaf fal lazeena kafarul malaaa'ikatu yadriboona wujoohahum wa adbaarahum wa zooqoo 'azaabal hareeq

If thou couldst see how the angels receive those who disbelieve, smiting faces and their backs and (saying): Taste the punishment of burning!

اور اگر تو دیکھے جس وقت جان قبض کرتے ہیں کافروں کی فرشتے مارتے ہیں ان کے منہ پر اور ان کے پیچھے اور کہتے ہیں چکھو عذاب جلنے کا [۵۸]

ذَٰلِكَ بِمَا قَدَّمَتْ أَيْدِيكُمْ وَأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَيْسَ بِظَلَّٰمٍۢ لِّلْعَبِيدِ

Zaalika bimaa qaddamat aideekum wa anal laaha laisa bizallaamil lil 'abeed

This is for that which your own hands have sent before (to the Judgment), and (know) that Allah is not a tyrant to His slaves.

یہ بدلا ہے اسی کا جو تم نے آگے بھیجا اپنے ہاتھوں اور اس واسطے کہ اللہ ظلم نہیں کرتا بندوں پر [۵۹]

كَدَأْبِ ءَالِ فِرْعَوْنَ ۙ وَٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ ۚ كَفَرُوا۟ بِـَٔايَٰتِ ٱللَّهِ فَأَخَذَهُمُ ٱللَّهُ بِذُنُوبِهِمْ ۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ قَوِىٌّۭ شَدِيدُ ٱلْعِقَابِ

Kadaabi Aali Fir'awna wal lazeena min qablihim; kafaroo bi Aayaatil laahi fa akhazahu mul laahu bizunoobihim; innal laaha qawiyyun shadeedul 'iqaab

(Their way is) as the way of Pharaoh's folk and those before them; they disbelieved the revelations of Allah, and Allah took them in their sins. Lo! Allah is Strong, severe in punishment.

جیسے دستور فرعون والوں کا اور جو ان سے پہلے تھے کہ منکر ہوئے اللہ کی باتوں سے سو پکڑا ان کو اللہ نے ان کے گناہوں پر بیشک اللہ زور آور ہے سخت عذاب کرنے والا [۶۰]

ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَمْ يَكُ مُغَيِّرًۭا نِّعْمَةً أَنْعَمَهَا عَلَىٰ قَوْمٍ حَتَّىٰ يُغَيِّرُوا۟ مَا بِأَنفُسِهِمْ ۙ وَأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ سَمِيعٌ عَلِيمٌۭ

Zaalika bi annal laaha lam yaku mughaiyiran ni matan an'amahaa 'alaa qawmin hattaa yughaiyiroo maa bianfusihim wa annallaaha samee un 'Aleem

That is because Allah never changeth the grace He hath bestowed on any people until they first change that which is in their hearts, and (that is) because Allah is Hearer, Knower.

اس کا سبب یہ ہے کہ اللہ ہر گز بدلنے والا نہیں اس نعمت کو جو دی تھی اس نے کسی قوم کو جب تک وہی نہ بدل ڈالیں اپنے جیوں کی بات اور یہ کہ اللہ سننے والا جاننے والا ہے [۶۱]

كَدَأْبِ ءَالِ فِرْعَوْنَ ۙ وَٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ ۚ كَذَّبُوا۟ بِـَٔايَٰتِ رَبِّهِمْ فَأَهْلَكْنَٰهُم بِذُنُوبِهِمْ وَأَغْرَقْنَآ ءَالَ فِرْعَوْنَ ۚ وَكُلٌّۭ كَانُوا۟ ظَٰلِمِينَ

Kadaabi Aali Fir'awna wallazeena min qablihim; kazzaboo bi Aayaati Rabbihim faahlaknaahum bizunoobihim wa aghraqnaa Aala Fir'awn; wa kullun kaanoo zaalimeen

(Their way is) as the way of Pharaoh's folk and those before them; they denied the revelations of their Lord, so We destroyed them in their sins. And We drowned the folk of Pharaoh. All were evil-doers.

جیسے دستور فرعون والوں کا اور جو ان سے پہلے تھے کہ انہوں نے جھٹلائیں باتیں اپنے رب کی پھر ہلاک کر دیا ہم نے انکو انکے گناہوں پر اور ڈبو دیا ہم نے فرعون والوں کو اور سارے ظالم تھے [۶۲]

إِنَّ شَرَّ ٱلدَّوَآبِّ عِندَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ فَهُمْ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ

Inna sharrad dawaaabbi 'indal laahil lazeena kafaroo fahum laa yu'minoon

Lo! the worst of beasts in Allah's sight are the ungrateful who will not believe.

بدتر سب جانداروں میں اللہ کے ہاں وہ ہیں جو منکر ہوئے پھر وہ نہیں ایمان لاتے

ٱلَّذِينَ عَٰهَدتَّ مِنْهُمْ ثُمَّ يَنقُضُونَ عَهْدَهُمْ فِى كُلِّ مَرَّةٍۢ وَهُمْ لَا يَتَّقُونَ

Allazeena'aahatta min hum summa yanqudoona 'ahdahum fee kulli marratinw wa hum laa yattaqoon

Those of them with whom thou madest a treaty, and then at every opportunity they break their treaty, and they keep not duty (to Allah).

جن سے تو نے معاہدہ کیا ہے ان میں سے پھر وہ توڑتے ہیں اپنا عہد ہر بار اور وہ ڈر نہیں رکھتے [۶۳]

فَإِمَّا تَثْقَفَنَّهُمْ فِى ٱلْحَرْبِ فَشَرِّدْ بِهِم مَّنْ خَلْفَهُمْ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَذَّكَّرُونَ

Fa immaa tasqafannahum fil harbi fasharrid bihim man khalfahum la'allahum yazzakkaroon

If thou comest on them in the war, deal with them so as to strike fear in those who are behind them, that haply they may remember.

سو اگر کبھی تو پائے ان کو لڑائی میں تو انکو ایسی سزا دے کہ دیکھ کر بھاگ جائیں ان کے پچھلے تاکہ ان کو عبرت ہو

وَإِمَّا تَخَافَنَّ مِن قَوْمٍ خِيَانَةًۭ فَٱنۢبِذْ إِلَيْهِمْ عَلَىٰ سَوَآءٍ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ ٱلْخَآئِنِينَ

Wa immaa takhaafana min qawmin khiyaanatan fambiz ilaihim 'alaa sawaaa'; innal laaha laayuhibbul khaaa'ineen

And if thou fearest treachery from any folk, then throw back to them (their treaty) fairly. Lo! Allah loveth not the treacherous.

اور اگر تجھ کو ڈر ہو کسی قوم سےدغا کا تو پھینک دے انکا عہد انکی طرف ایسی طرح پر کہ ہو جاؤ تم اور وہ برابر بیشک اللہ کو خوش نہیں آتے دغاباز [۶۴]

وَلَا يَحْسَبَنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ سَبَقُوٓا۟ ۚ إِنَّهُمْ لَا يُعْجِزُونَ

Wa laa yahsabannal lazeena kafaroo sabaqooo; innahum laa yu'jizoon

And let not those who disbelieve suppose that they can outstrip (Allah's Purpose). Lo! they cannot escape.

اور یہ نہ سمجھیں کافر لوگ کہ وہ بھاگ نکلے وہ ہرگز تھکا نہ سکیں گے ہم کو [۶۵]

وَأَعِدُّوا۟ لَهُم مَّا ٱسْتَطَعْتُم مِّن قُوَّةٍۢ وَمِن رِّبَاطِ ٱلْخَيْلِ تُرْهِبُونَ بِهِۦ عَدُوَّ ٱللَّهِ وَعَدُوَّكُمْ وَءَاخَرِينَ مِن دُونِهِمْ لَا تَعْلَمُونَهُمُ ٱللَّهُ يَعْلَمُهُمْ ۚ وَمَا تُنفِقُوا۟ مِن شَىْءٍۢ فِى سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ يُوَفَّ إِلَيْكُمْ وَأَنتُمْ لَا تُظْلَمُونَ

Wa a'iddoo lahum mastata'tum min quwwatinw wa mirribaatil khaili turhiboona bihee 'aduwwal laahi wa 'aduwwakum wa aakhareena min doonihim laa ta'lamoo nahum Allaahu ya'lamuhum; wa maa tunfiqoo min shai'in fee sabeelil laahi yuwaf failaikum wa antum laa tuzlamoon

Make ready for them all thou canst of (armed) force and of horses tethered, that thereby ye may dismay the enemy of Allah and your enemy, and others beside them whom ye know not. Allah knoweth them. Whatsoever ye spend in the way of Allah it will be repaid to you in full, and ye will not be wronged.

اور تیار کرو انکی لڑائی کے واسطے جو کچھ جمع کر سکو قوت سے اور پلے ہوئے گھوڑوں سے [۶۶] کہ اس سے دھاک پڑے اللہ کے دشمنوں پر اور تمہارے دشمنوں پر اور دوسروں پر ان کےسوا جن کو تم نہیں جانتے اللہ ان کو جانتا ہے [۶۷] اور جو کچھ تم خرچ کرو گے اللہ کی راہ میں وہ پورا ملے گا تم کو اور تمہار حق نہ رہ جائے گا [۶۸]

۞ وَإِن جَنَحُوا۟ لِلسَّلْمِ فَٱجْنَحْ لَهَا وَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ ۚ إِنَّهُۥ هُوَ ٱلسَّمِيعُ ٱلْعَلِيمُ

Wa in janahoo lissalmi fajnah lahaa wa tawakkal 'alal laah; innahoo Huwas Samee'ul 'Aleem

And if they incline to peace, incline thou also to it, and trust in Allah. Lo! He, even He, is the Hearer, the Knower.

اور اگر وہ جھکیں صلح کی طرف تو تو بھی جھک اسی طرف اور بھروسہ کر اللہ پر بیشک وہی ہے سننے والا جاننے والا [۶۹]

وَإِن يُرِيدُوٓا۟ أَن يَخْدَعُوكَ فَإِنَّ حَسْبَكَ ٱللَّهُ ۚ هُوَ ٱلَّذِىٓ أَيَّدَكَ بِنَصْرِهِۦ وَبِٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ

Wa iny yureedooo any-yakhda'ooka fainna hasbakal laah; Huwal lazeee aiyadaka binasrihee wa bilmu'mineen

And if they would deceive thee, then lo! Allah is Sufficient for thee. He it is Who supporteth thee with His help and with the believers,

اور اگر وہ چاہیں کہ تجھ کو دغا دیں تو تجھ کو کافی ہے اللہ اسی نے تجھ کو زور دیا اپنی مدد کا اور مسلمانوں کا [۷۰]

وَأَلَّفَ بَيْنَ قُلُوبِهِمْ ۚ لَوْ أَنفَقْتَ مَا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ جَمِيعًۭا مَّآ أَلَّفْتَ بَيْنَ قُلُوبِهِمْ وَلَٰكِنَّ ٱللَّهَ أَلَّفَ بَيْنَهُمْ ۚ إِنَّهُۥ عَزِيزٌ حَكِيمٌۭ

Wa allafa baina quloobihim; law anfaqta maa fil ardi jamee'am maaa allafta baina quloobihim wa laakinnallaaha allafa bainahum; innaahoo 'Azeezun Hakeem

And (as for the believers) hath attuned their hearts. If thou hadst spent all that is in the earth thou couldst not have attuned their hearts, but Allah hath attuned them. Lo! He is Mighty, Wise.

اور الفت ڈالی انکے دلوں میں اگر تو خرچ کر دیتا جو کچھ زمین میں ہے سارا نہ الفت ڈال سکتا ان کے دلوں میں لیکن اللہ نے الفت ڈالی ان میں بیشک وہ زورآور ہے حکمت والا [۷۱]

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّبِىُّ حَسْبُكَ ٱللَّهُ وَمَنِ ٱتَّبَعَكَ مِنَ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ

Yaaa aiyuhan Nabiyyu hasbukal laahu wa manittaba 'aka minal mu'mineen

O Prophet! Allah is Sufficient for thee and those who follow thee of the believers.

اے نبی کافی ہے تجھ کو اللہ اور جتنے تیرے ساتھ ہیں مسلمان [۷۲]

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّبِىُّ حَرِّضِ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ عَلَى ٱلْقِتَالِ ۚ إِن يَكُن مِّنكُمْ عِشْرُونَ صَٰبِرُونَ يَغْلِبُوا۟ مِا۟ئَتَيْنِ ۚ وَإِن يَكُن مِّنكُم مِّا۟ئَةٌۭ يَغْلِبُوٓا۟ أَلْفًۭا مِّنَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ بِأَنَّهُمْ قَوْمٌۭ لَّا يَفْقَهُونَ

Yaaa aiyuhan Nabiyyu harridil mu'mineena 'alal qitaal; iny-yakum minkum 'ishroona saabiroona yaghliboo mi'atayn; wa iny-yakum minkum min'atuny yaghlibooo alfam minal lazeena kafaroo bi anahum qawmul laa yafqahoon

O Prophet! Exhort the believers to fight. If there be of you twenty steadfast they shall overcome two hundred, and if there be of you a hundred (steadfast) they shall overcome a thousand of those who disbelieve, because they (the disbelievers) are a folk without intelligence.

اے نبی شوق دلا مسلمانوں کو لڑائی کا اگر ہوں تم میں بیس شخص ثابت قدم رہنے والے تو غالب ہوں دو سو پر اور اگر ہوں تم میں سو شخص تو غالب ہوں ہزار کافروں پر اس واسطے کہ وہ لوگ سمجھ نہیں رکھتے [۷۳]

ٱلْـَٰٔنَ خَفَّفَ ٱللَّهُ عَنكُمْ وَعَلِمَ أَنَّ فِيكُمْ ضَعْفًۭا ۚ فَإِن يَكُن مِّنكُم مِّا۟ئَةٌۭ صَابِرَةٌۭ يَغْلِبُوا۟ مِا۟ئَتَيْنِ ۚ وَإِن يَكُن مِّنكُمْ أَلْفٌۭ يَغْلِبُوٓا۟ أَلْفَيْنِ بِإِذْنِ ٱللَّهِ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ مَعَ ٱلصَّٰبِرِينَ

Al'aana khaffafal laahu 'ankum wa 'alima anna feekum da'faa; fa-iny yakum minkum mi'atun saabiratuny yaghliboo mi'atayn; wa iny-yakum minkum alfuny yaghlibooo alfaini bi iznil laah; wallaahu ma'as saabireen

Now hath Allah lightened your burden, for He knoweth that there is weakness in you. So if there be of you a steadfast hundred they shall overcome two hundred, and if there be of you a thousand (steadfast) they shall overcome two thousand by permission of Allah. Allah is with the steadfast.

اب بوجھ ہلکا کر دیا اللہ نے تم پر سے اور جانا کہ تم میں سستی ہےسو اگر ہوں تم میں سو شخص ثابت قدم رہنے والے تو غالب ہوں دو سو پر اور اگر ہوں تم میں ہزار تو غالب ہوں دو ہزار پر اللہ کے حکم سے اور اللہ ساتھ ہے ثابت قدم رہنے والوں کے [۷۴]

مَا كَانَ لِنَبِىٍّ أَن يَكُونَ لَهُۥٓ أَسْرَىٰ حَتَّىٰ يُثْخِنَ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ ۚ تُرِيدُونَ عَرَضَ ٱلدُّنْيَا وَٱللَّهُ يُرِيدُ ٱلْءَاخِرَةَ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ عَزِيزٌ حَكِيمٌۭ

Maa kaana li Nabiyyin ai yakoona lahooo asraa hatta yuskhina fil ard; tureedoona aradad dunyaa wallaahu yureedul Aakhirah; wallaahu 'Azeezun Hakeem

It is not for any prophet to have captives until he hath made slaughter in the land. Ye desire the lure of this world and Allah desireth (for you) the Hereafter, and Allah is Mighty, Wise.

نبی کو نہیں چاہئے کہ اپنے ہاں رکھے قیدیوں کو جب تک خوب خونریزی نہ کر لے ملک میں تم چاہتے ہو اسباب دنیا اور اور اللہ کے ہاں چاہئے آخرت اور اللہ زور آور ہے حکمت والا [۷۵]

لَّوْلَا كِتَٰبٌۭ مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ سَبَقَ لَمَسَّكُمْ فِيمَآ أَخَذْتُمْ عَذَابٌ عَظِيمٌۭ

Law laa Kitaabum minal laahi sabaqa lamassakum fee maaa akhaztum 'azaabun 'azeem

Had it not been for an ordinance of Allah which had gone before, an awful doom had come upon you on account of what ye took.

اگر نہ ہوتی ایک بات جس کو لکھ چکا اللہ پہلے سے تو تم کو پہنچتا اس لینے میں بڑا عذاب [۷۶]

فَكُلُوا۟ مِمَّا غَنِمْتُمْ حَلَٰلًۭا طَيِّبًۭا ۚ وَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ غَفُورٌۭ رَّحِيمٌۭ

Fakuloo mimaa ghanimtum halaalan taiyibaa; watta qullaah; innal laaha Ghafoorur Raheem

Now enjoy what ye have won, as lawful and good, and keep your duty to Allah. Lo! Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.

سو کھاؤ جو تم کو غنیمت میں ملا حلال ستھرا اور ڈرتے رہو اللہ سے بیشک اللہ ہے بخشنے والا مہربان [۷۷]

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّبِىُّ قُل لِّمَن فِىٓ أَيْدِيكُم مِّنَ ٱلْأَسْرَىٰٓ إِن يَعْلَمِ ٱللَّهُ فِى قُلُوبِكُمْ خَيْرًۭا يُؤْتِكُمْ خَيْرًۭا مِّمَّآ أُخِذَ مِنكُمْ وَيَغْفِرْ لَكُمْ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ غَفُورٌۭ رَّحِيمٌۭ

Yaaa aiyuhan Nabiyyu qul liman feee aideekum minal asraaa iny-ya lamillaahu fee quloobikum khairany yu'tikum khayram mimmaaa ukhiza minkum wa yaghfir lakum; wallaahu Ghafoorur Raheem

O Prophet! Say unto those captives who are in your hands: If Allah knoweth any good in your hearts He will give you better than that which hath been taken from you, and will forgive you. Lo! Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.

اے نبی کہہ دے ان سے جو تمہارے ہاتھ میں ہیں قیدی اگر جانے گا اللہ تمہارے دلوں میں کچھ نیکی تو دے گا تم کو بہتر اس سے جو تم سے چھن گیا اور تم کو بخشے گا اور اللہ ہے بخشنے والا مہربان

وَإِن يُرِيدُوا۟ خِيَانَتَكَ فَقَدْ خَانُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ مِن قَبْلُ فَأَمْكَنَ مِنْهُمْ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ عَلِيمٌ حَكِيمٌ

Wa iny-yureedoo khiyaa nataka faqad khaanullaaha min qablu fa amkana minhum; wallaahu 'aleemum Hakeem

And if they would betray thee, they betrayed Allah before, and He gave (thee) power over them. Allah is Knower, Wise.

اور اگر چاہیں گے تجھ سے دغا کرنی سو وہ دغا کر چکے ہیں اللہ سے اس سے پہلے پھر اس نے انکو پکڑوا دیا اور اللہ سب کچھ جاننے والا حکمت والا ہے [۷۸]

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَهَاجَرُوا۟ وَجَٰهَدُوا۟ بِأَمْوَٰلِهِمْ وَأَنفُسِهِمْ فِى سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَاوَوا۟ وَّنَصَرُوٓا۟ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ بَعْضُهُمْ أَوْلِيَآءُ بَعْضٍۢ ۚ وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَلَمْ يُهَاجِرُوا۟ مَا لَكُم مِّن وَلَٰيَتِهِم مِّن شَىْءٍ حَتَّىٰ يُهَاجِرُوا۟ ۚ وَإِنِ ٱسْتَنصَرُوكُمْ فِى ٱلدِّينِ فَعَلَيْكُمُ ٱلنَّصْرُ إِلَّا عَلَىٰ قَوْمٍۭ بَيْنَكُمْ وَبَيْنَهُم مِّيثَٰقٌۭ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ بَصِيرٌۭ

Innal lazeena aamanoo wa haajaroo wa jaahadoo bi amwaalihim wa anfusihim fee sabeelil laahi wallazeena aawaw wa nasarooo ulaaa'ika ba'duhum awliyaaa'u ba'd; wallazeena aamanoo wa lam yuhaajiroo maa lakum minw walaayatihim min shai'in hatta yuhaajiroo; wa inistan sarookum fid deeni fa'alaiku munnasru illaa 'alaa qawmim bainakum wa bainahum meesaaq; wallaahu bimaa ta'maloona Baseer

Lo! those who believed and left their homes and strove with their wealth and their lives for the cause of Allah, and those who took them in and helped them: these are protecting friends one of another. And those who believed but did not leave their homes, ye have no duty to protect them till they leave their homes; but if they seek help from you in the matter of religion then it is your duty to help (them) except against a folk between whom and you there is a treaty. Allah is Seer of what ye do.

جو لوگ ایمان لائے اور گھر چھوڑا اور لڑے اپنے مال اور جان سے اللہ کی راہ میں اور جن لوگوں نے جگہ دی اور مدد کی وہ ایک دوسرے کے رفیق ہیں اور جو ایمان لائے اور گھر نہیں چھوڑا تم کو ان کی رفاقت سے کچھ کام نہیں جب تک وہ گھر نہ چھوڑ آئیں اور اگر وہ تم سے مدد چاہیں دین میں تو تم کو لازم ہے انکی مدد کرنی مگر مقابلہ میں ان لوگوں کے کہ ان میں اور تم میں عہد ہو اور اللہ جو تم کرتے ہو اس کو دیکھتا ہے [۷۹]

وَٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ بَعْضُهُمْ أَوْلِيَآءُ بَعْضٍ ۚ إِلَّا تَفْعَلُوهُ تَكُن فِتْنَةٌۭ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ وَفَسَادٌۭ كَبِيرٌۭ

Wallazeena kafaroo ba'duhum awliyaaa'u ba'd; illaa taf'aloohu takun fitnatun fil ardi wa fasaadun kabeer

And those who disbelieve are protectors one of another - If ye do not so, there will be confusion in the land, and great corruption.

اور جو لوگ کافر ہیں وہ ایک دوسرے کے رفیق ہیں اگر تم یوں نہ کرو گے تو فتنہ پھیلے گا ملک میں اور بڑی خرابی ہو گی [۸۰]

وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَهَاجَرُوا۟ وَجَٰهَدُوا۟ فِى سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَاوَوا۟ وَّنَصَرُوٓا۟ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَ حَقًّۭا ۚ لَّهُم مَّغْفِرَةٌۭ وَرِزْقٌۭ كَرِيمٌۭ

Wallazeena aamanoo wa haajaroo wa jaahadoo fee sabeelil laahi wallazeena aawaw wa nasarooo ulaaa'ika humul mu'minoona haqqaa; lahum maghfiratunw wa rizqun kareem

Those who believed and left their homes and strove for the cause of Allah, and those who took them in and helped them - these are the believers in truth. For them is pardon, and bountiful provision.

اور جو لوگ ایمان لائے اور اپنے گھر چھوڑے اور لڑے اللہ کی راہ میں اور جن لوگوں نے ان کو جگہ دی اور انکی مدد کی وہی ہیں سچے مسلمان انکے لئے بخشش ہے اور روزی عزت کی [۸۱]

وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ مِنۢ بَعْدُ وَهَاجَرُوا۟ وَجَٰهَدُوا۟ مَعَكُمْ فَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ مِنكُمْ ۚ وَأُو۟لُوا۟ ٱلْأَرْحَامِ بَعْضُهُمْ أَوْلَىٰ بِبَعْضٍۢ فِى كِتَٰبِ ٱللَّهِ ۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ بِكُلِّ شَىْءٍ عَلِيمٌۢ

Wallazeena aamanoo mim ba'du wa haajaroo wa jaahadoo ma;akum faulaaa'ika minkum; wa ulul arhaami baduhum awlaa biba'din fee Kitaabil laah; innal laaha bikulli shai'in 'Aleem

And those who afterwards believed and left their homes and strove along with you, they are of you; and those who are akin are nearer one to another in the ordinance of Allah. Lo! Allah is Knower of all things.

اور جو ایمان لائے اسکے بعد اور گھر چھوڑ آئے اور لڑے تمہارے ساتھ ہو کر سو وہ لوگ بھی تمہی میں ہیں اور رشتہ دار آپس میں حقدار زیادہ ہیں ایک دوسرے کے اللہ کے حکم میں [۸۲] تحقیق اللہ ہر چیز سے خبردار ہے [۸۳]
