Al-Qadr

بِّسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ إِنَّآ أَنزَلْنَٰهُ فِى لَيْلَةِ ٱلْقَدْرِ

Innaa anzalnaahu fee lailatil qadr

Lo! We revealed it on the Night of Predestination.

ہم نے اُسکو اتارا شب قدر میں [۱]

وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا لَيْلَةُ ٱلْقَدْرِ

Wa maa adraaka ma lailatul qadr

Ah, what will convey unto thee what the Night of Power is!

اور تو نے کیا سمجھا کہ کیا ہے شب قدر

لَيْلَةُ ٱلْقَدْرِ خَيْرٌۭ مِّنْ أَلْفِ شَهْرٍۢ

Lailatul qadri khairum min alfee shahr

The Night of Power is better than a thousand months.

شب قدر بہتر ہے ہزار مہینے سے [۲]

تَنَزَّلُ ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ وَٱلرُّوحُ فِيهَا بِإِذْنِ رَبِّهِم مِّن كُلِّ أَمْرٍۢ

Tanaz zalul malaa-ikatu war roohu feeha bi izni-rab bihim min kulli amr

The angels and the Spirit descend therein, by the permission of their Lord, with all decrees.

اترتے ہیں فرشتے اور روح اُس میں اپنے رب کے حکم سے [۳] ہر کام پر [۴]

سَلَٰمٌ هِىَ حَتَّىٰ مَطْلَعِ ٱلْفَجْرِ

Salaamun hiya hattaa mat la'il fajr

(The night is) Peace until the rising of the dawn.

امان ہے [۵] وہ رات صبح کے نکلنے تک [۶]
